Itās obvious even to Castiel that the hunter hadnāt believed him, whichā¦made sense. Dean was practically a master at lying; Castiel never stood a chance. He gives a slight frown when Dean takes the pants and fixes a knowing look on him. Taking a step back and leaning against the dresser, he bites his lip, trying and failing to keep the mental image Deanās words summoned. It was to no avail as he became more flustered.
At this point, heās given up trying to get out of the situation. No, Dean already had him cornered and it was a matter of time before the angel simply told him, even if it would ruin the small prank. It takes a brief minute of Deanās penetrative gaze before a small sigh of defeat escapes the angelās lips. Fine. āIā¦took themā¦for a prankā, he mumbles out, averting his eyes. It was ridiculous for a celestial being to behave like a child caught red handed and yet here he was.
His eyes clearly reflected his guilt and nervousness. Quietly, the angel hoped Dean would simply accept his answer and let him go. After all, he didnāt want to admit Sam had set him up to thisā¦or the āpaymentā he was receiving for his services. Which reminds himā¦He glances up at Dean for a moment then at the pants before tugging them from his hand. The angel didnāt plan on leaving empty handed.
Ā Ā Ā Thatās the thing ----Ā The catās out of the bag and beyond that, thereās the trespassing into someoneās personal, private space without their knowing; the thieving around; the total inconvenience of waking up only to find your car keys are gone, again, and since the one pair of clean underwear just went poof! right out of thin fucking air! Heās had to go commando more than a few times in the past week. It was cute, at first. But now heās gotta come up with a prank of his own.
Ā Ā Ā And you know, he just might have an idea now that Cas is here, since itās apparent the angel got roped into all of this. But how?
Ā Ā Ā ā Ha! I donāt know where you think youāre going with those, ācause I aināt done with you. ā Dean replies, wrapping his hand around the one that has his pants in them, and intentionally blocks his line of exit. The tone of his voice brooks no argument. And though heās not particularly interested in trying to intimidate Cas, heās not opposed to letting the angel allude to it. It serves him right, and besides... those are his fucking pants. You think heās just made of money? ā Tell me about this āprankā. Sam the Brat put you up to it, didnāt he?Ā ā
