We’re a week out from the start of spring, and here’s winter, showing up late and showing off. I’m already over it, and dreading what seems like will be an unbearable summer.
And without Starbucks to lighten the blow. It’ll be a definite mess, that’s for sure.

It’s clearly amateur hour. I’m guessing people didn’t expect harsh weather this winter and are now doing that obnoxious panicking.
People doing the most, as always. It really has been an okay winter, as far as winters go. This feels like what winter should be. Granted, it’s a little late to be pulling out the snow boots, but we do what we must.

It was good and productive and needed. Now it’s back to work though. Yay!

Probably for the best. I think the biggest miss for Marvel shows is mostly likely coming with Iron Fist, but Luke Cage was incredibly enjoyable. The Get Down however is a win all around. The music and the aesthetics are right up my alley, plus the overall plot was really good. I’m hoping for more good in the coming episodes.
Yeah, the rviews I’ve seen for the first few episodes don’t bode well. I’ve got that day blocked off, so hopefully I can binge it. Like, I feel so invested in these kids and their stories and I want them all to succeed and be happy.

So long as you’re not breaking into Joan Crawford tantrums around wire hangers, I say being particular isn’t a bad thing. Luke Cage is still one I need to wrap up but I powered through The Get Down and I’m so ready for Part 2. It was fantastic.
That’s another level of extra I hope I never reach. I think you’ll like it. I mean as far as Marvel Netflix shows goes, it’s the best. But that’s my personal opinion. The Get Down is everything. Hip hop, disco, friends, love, adventure, like what more could you want.

That doesn’t sound much like a day off.
Maybe not in the...rest and relaxation sense, but it was definitely a good day. It was glorious. I mean, cleaning was involved, but it was good cleaning.

I know that feeling. It’s probably a bit of both. I try not to be too anal about somethings, but if my kitchen isn’t cleaned just right, eh it’s not pretty. Well, I’ve been meaning to finish Marvel’s Luke Cage for the longest, and start The Get Down, so I binged. They’re soooooooo good.

Sometimes it feels that way. Like I would totally love to do nothing all day, but things still have to get done and no one else would do them if I don’t so, yeah.

They are rare mythical beings and I was blessed to be visited by one.
Between cleaning my apartment, catching up on TV shows, and having a random disco dance party, today has been a good, and much needed, day off.

It felt right. And it’s like the only Drake song I know. I’d love to go to Milan for their fashion week, maybe Paris, but I’ll probably end up stateside. I’m looking to go west. Maybe hang out in California for a minute. Fingers crossed.

I envy their talent, that’s for sure. I didn’t have to cook at that age, my family had a cook, but I still knew how to bake at eight, but that was the extent of my skills. The only reason I knew how to bake was because my mother made sure to set aside weekends to cook together; it changed a bit when I went to boarding school, but when I was younger it was nice to actually see her more ha.
That sounds like it was a fun time. Neither of my parents were much for cooking, but my grandmother lived pretty close so we’d head to her house for Sunday dinners. She taught me everything I know about cooking.

I mean, as long as you’re having fun and getting paid. But what are you up to now that fashion week is over? Yeah, haven’t gotten into any trouble lately, so I gotta agree.
I’ve got a few clients that I kept from the salon to work on, plus making content for my vlog, weddings, random events where someone needs a hairstylist. Whatever my agent books, I pretty much do.
