Cancer post
I was hospitalized for 17 days since oct 13th, from the day they found mass in my lung until the day they confirmed it's cancer. My hospital stay was quite a breeze back then coz i was mostly healthy~ and can move quite freely. Then on last saturday, i went back to my hometown by plane with my mom. The trip was fine, but when the plane arrived and i was getting up to take my luggage, the entire left side of my body feels numb. Thankfully i can still move but we went straight to the hospital, where i was warded until tuesday (nov 3rd). They did a brain scan but luckily there's no internal bleeding. The numbness eventually lessen but right now it's only about 95% back to normal. We went back to our home on thursday, by car this time, and the journey took extra 4 hour due to some part of thehighway being closed down because a gas tanker broke down. When we arrived home, we went back to the hospital where i was warded for the first time. This time, everything was painful. My ankles are swollen, part of my legs hurts when they're in vertical position, my left arm hurts and cant be fully straightened. It's really frustrating. Now i have to use wheelchair to move, and even getting to the toilet requires my mom's help. Even doing simple thing like trying to get off the bed would leave me breathless. Seems like i'm gonna be here for quite a while. I did the PET scan earlier today to know how far my cancer has spread in order to determine the proper treatment. The full result could take about a week. Until then, i'm pretty much just gonna be on this hospital bed.
