Strange Reality

First off I'm 19 as of this year, studying engineering, sarcastic witty comebacks are all i know of. I am a proud Canadian and would any day play for any Canadian Olympic team:D I love the gym! its like crack to me seriously, staying fit and being active is a huge part of my life. Any gym junkies out there make sure to follow! Im a HUGE Lorien Legacies fan, i find it inspiring. Nine has got to be my favourite of the garde, his anger and determination inspire me! The character has become so close to me i can see no difference between his and my actions sometimes: therefore i have taken the name of Nine. The Mortal Instruments series and anything shadowhunter are very close to my heart, it is one of my favourite series ever!! Iron man: hes a boss, an engineer and a ladies man clearly my favourite super hero! Ive loved Greek Mythology ever since i was a little kid then a genius named Rick Riordan made the perfect book for all of us Demigods out there :p ahh Son of Athena and Legacy of Hephaestus!! i also love paramore, big fan, they have such an interesting sound! im a hugeee book worm and i have read many series including the Lorien Legacies, which i absoluteelyyy love! Percy Jackson and the Olympains, The Mortal Instruments Series and more! AND im a huge LOK and ATLA FAN! so follow me, ill follow back! -Hey its Chris and this is my legacy.

Fenrys: Because guess what, Rowan's first mate wasn't actually his mate but just a game of Maeve's.

Fenrys: OH YOU MISSED EVEN MORE. Lorcan gave up the tortured loner life and got married to the Lady of Perranth but then he screwed up and I think their marriage is over.

United as One

Spent a whole night reading this amazing series that has been apart of my life since highschool. It was my escape from my world and offered me a place that I could hide in. Wanna say thanks to Pitty for writing up a character like Nine, he inspired me and gave me strength when i needed it. Taught me how to be confident and strong.

Really really sad the series is done and that i can no longer pretend these characters are living a life out in my head or whatever. Happy to see it was the OG legacy squad that saved the day and it was all about ride or dies baby Nine-John-Marina-Six and Adam till the end.

I can analyze the book like i do so many but it was so individual and helped me through so many personal things in life that i hold it close to my heart honestly and thruthfuly; i just enjoyed being apart of the ride of anticipation and guessing of what new legacies or secret twists the past could bring in the stories.

Also thank you for helping me meet people like @languageoflorien. whos become a great friend to me who i can truthfully talk to my weird book choices about <3 your the Six to my Nine 

Its been a great ride and if you look back its not about the story, it was about the emotional attachment and feelings such a world created within us. Nine will always be apart of me I know that now.

But seriously, I’m glad to have met you through this series, and this community on tumblr. I remember the days when our fandom consisted of approximately ten people and it is amazing how much it’s grown.

This series has been so magical for me, and it was a place to go mentally when I was still in high school. As I have aged, the magic has died down, and I now find myself in less need of escape, but I still remember how I felt. There are so many wonderful people involved in this fandom, and whilst I wish the book had ended differently, it feels so strange to be saying goodbye to the series after my six years of involvement.

United as One: Thoughts (spoilers included)

Okay, everyone, I finished United as One, and let me tell you, it was one hell of a fucking ride for me. There’s parts I loved so much, and then there was parts where I wanted to rip my hair out, (speaking of hair ripping out, rest in peace Nine’s hair that Setràkrus ripped out in that one chapter, but it grew back), but overall, I honestly, deeply - from the bottom of my heart, I loved it. It was the last book and it gave me so many fucking emotions that I couldn’t even bear to handle, but it was great. James gave me some heart attacks, but I survived them all. I loved all the Stohn moments, (omg the stohn), I loved every bit of Samix (those cuties better get married), and OMG REX CAME BACK I WAS FUCKING SCREAMING WHEN THAT HAPPENED! I MISSED HIM SO MUCH. That cute naked scene with Six and Sam was so adorable, I didn’t want it to end. (Sarcastically: Thanks Caleb and “Christian”), SETRÀKUS WAS PRETENDING TO BE EIGHT AND OMG THAT MADE ME CRAZY WHATTT. WHEN Nine lost his arm, all I could think of was Bucky. He doesn’t have an “arm” and John has blonde hair and he’s steve and omg STUCKY moments. I was sad about Mark’s death but at the same time I was like thinking how much he was suffering about Sarah’s death and when he died I was like “Now he can be with Sarah in heaven”. After Setràkus died I was really relieved and OMG SIX was such a badass - GOOD FOR HER. I was wayyy more upset over DUST’s death omg my sweet baby dog child why did you have to leave us. REST IN PEACE! The academy at the end for the Earth Garde Humans scene reminded of the Loric Defense Council and Academy back on Lorien and it just gave me memories and flashbacks and OMG Ahh. Yes, the book was called United as ONe, and there wasn’t much Uniting but I feel like it was sort of a metaphor. They were all together at the end - but not together. Everyone was happy. It was bittersweet. It was satisfying ending to know that we know that everyone was okay at the end. Even though the series is now over, my heart is at peace knowing I got my answers to everything.  Thank you James for everything.
