If you were a sinner saved by grace you would accept people; there wouldn’t be disdain. If you were a sinner saved by grace you would be content; there wouldn’t be anger. If you are a sinner saved by grace you can forgive. If you know you are saved by grace and faith and not by your works, then you can forgive. The only way you can keep a grudge, keep the bitterness, stay angry at somebody, is if you are sure you are superior to them. If somebody does something to you and you know you do that too, you know you could do that too, and you know you have done that too, it’s hard to hold a grudge. But if somebody does something to you and you say, I would never do that too, that’s the reason why you walk around very bitter, because you’re proud. A sinner saved by grace can forgive.
