Elfandiary Deniharza’s “Deadline Drama.”
Currently on view at World’s End Gallery in Bandung, Indonesia is artist Elfandiary Deniharza’s solo exhibition entitled “Deadline Drama.”
“The theme for this exhibition is personal to me,” Deniharza explains. “In daily life, small occurrences become more concrete and interesting when we pour them into a visual form. The ‘Deadline Drama’ series for me is like opening an important path of my illustration career where self expression, exploring, and experiences all meet in one line.”
“Deadline Drama” will be on view until September 8th, 2017.

The Art of Hiroshi Yoshida
Hiroshi Yoshida was a 20th-century Japanese painter and woodblock printmaker. He is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the shin-hanga style, and is noted especially for his excellent landscape prints. Yoshida travelled widely, and was particularly known for his images of non-Japanese subjects done in traditional Japanese woodblock style.

Klaus Magazine No. 2 is out now in the Breakdown Press shop! Personally, I think the second issue is much better than the first. The third issue is much worse.
“Containing strips old and new, the feature length story “Fancy”, guest bits from Alexis Beauclair, Sammy Stein, Alice Socal and Michael DeForge, the full colour story “Paws for Thought” first printed in Dome in collaboration with Joe Kessler, and the return of the Klaus letter column, Klaus Magazine 2 is a must have for Klaus fans the world over!”

Mau Lencinas, Illustrations.
Absolutely phenomenal illustrative work from artist Mau Lencinas which seems to be heavily influenced by Katsuhiro Otomo’s AKIRA (Not complaining!) but in turn uses the iconic imagery of such things as the pill (Good for health…) and “capsule” stickers to create a newfound and intriguing set of characters fighting their way through their own stories.
Definitely continue below to see more of Mau’s work:
