Our Sophomores having fun today at the McLean County Farm Bureau Conference. Learning lots about different things in Agriculture
Section 9 Parliamentary Procedure was last night. Waiting to get results, but we all did great and put for a lot of effort.
Bowling and Billiards Section 9 Christmas party. Had a lot of fun eating pizza and hanging with other chapters
Our Monthly 3rd Grade AG Day was yesterday. This month we got to learn about reindeer, and made little ornaments for the kids to take home.
Congratulations to our Dairy Foods team (top), and our Agronomy team (bottom) for doing well at Section and competing at State.
Congrats to our soils team for placing 1st in the Section 9 contest yesterday. Erik Halberg recieved first, Brayden Estes recieved 2nd, and Levi Campbell placed in the top ten.

Quiz Bowl
The Heyworth Greenhands placed first in the quiz bowl competition, although we only got to play one game. The win was clinched after a clutch answer to the final question by Drake Gardener.
Ag Paintball
On April 14, the chapter went to Sudden Impact in Funks Grove to play paintball. We had a fun time, although I only shot two people.
FFA Week Wrap-Up
FFA Week was a fun week for ag students and thre rest of the Heyworth student body. We had an assembly, decorated the school, and played games in ag class. The best part was the petting zoo we hosted for the grade schoolers. Even though I was sneezing the whole time.

Christmas Parade & Speak Up Conference
Heyworth FFA students have the honor of marching with the grand marshals at the fore of the Heyworth Christmas Parade on November 11th. Heyworth FFA students Kristin Bunn, Carly Halberg, Erik Poston, Drake Gardner, Brittany McMann, Brianna Stengel, Sam Klein, Ashley Russow, Gavin Edwards, Branden Schneider, Emma Barrington, Nicole Roysdon, Erik Halberg, and Chelsea Ferrie will be attending the Speak Up Conference on November 15th.
Food Science CDE Results
Heyworth placed second as a school in the Section 9 Food Science CDE. Our own Chris Massman placed second individually!

Come out the Heyworth FFA Chapter Community Dinner on November 7th where we will raffle off our tractor!
