Yesterday I was at state contest for solo and ensemble and as soon as I finished my solo and walked out of the building, one of the freshmen from my school appeared out of thin air, handed me a rose, and then disappeared. Don't get me wrong, I love roses and I appreciated the give, but the first thoughts on my mind were "Where did you come from and where did you get this?"
Congratulations to our Dairy Foods team (top), and our Agronomy team (bottom) for doing well at Section and competing at State.
We got a 2 at state!

I just stole watermelons from a field with two of my friends. This is the best night before state contest ever.
A girl I follow posted a video of her marching band and I would like to do the same. :) This is our lovely marching band (Mentor High School Fighting Cardinal Marching Band). We are at Brunswick High School for our OMEA State Competition performance here. This performance earned our band a rating of I or Superior for the first time in over 15 years and for only the second time in the band's history. If you watch through the end you get to see our reaction. We flipped out.
