They care about arbitrary little sections of “””acceptable””” gays. Who’s in those little sections? Only they know because they make up the rules on who’s in or out. i hate that even in the lgbtq+ community there are still people who believe that "non-conforming gays" or trans people who aren't strictly binary and express themselves that way are not valid. it's almost like they're forcing a warped sense of heteronormativity and what they view as a proper form of gender expression onto people who quite obviously don't fill those roles. no one gets to tell you who you are or how valid your sense of expression is. and to be frank, it's very infuriating that people who have been discriminated against for centuries can put down and harrass other people who have been discriminated against for centuries. we should be lifting each other up, not shoving each other down because their sense of expression isn't the same as ours. who fucking cares if a trans woman dresses masculine? it's clothes. who cares if ace/aro people are ace or aro? it's no ones business except for the individual who identifies as such. why push standards onto people who obviously won't fill them? everyone is different and that's amazing! if someone doesn't express themselves the same way you do: who fucking cares? because at the end of the day, the only person you have to come home to is yourself. and i'd feel pretty shitty if i had to live with myself knowing i forced a very conservative set of standards onto people that i don't even know. it's none of your business if tucutes believe something different than you. accept that there will be people who don't express themselves the same as you and move on.

and yes, everyone (and i mean everyone) in the lgbtq+ community is welcome here onto my blog. if you're enby, cool! pan? also super cool! poly? to that i say cool as well. ace/aro? fucking based. i embrace the fact that people aren't going to be the same as me in their identities and expression. and to be honest, i'm really happy that that is the case. people are people and at the end of the day they all carry emotions and who am i to bring negative ones upon them? it doesn't matter what you identify as as long as you are a genuinely good person. it's no one else's place to tell you who you are or judge you on your differences. so you're valid, hmm? and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. because if every gay/trans/gnc/etc person was the same, it'd be pretty boring. if you ever need to talk, i'm here for you.

oh and as a p.s. or whatever, neopronouns are valid!! it's not that hard to respect someone's pronouns, and if you fuck up, just apologize and correct yourself. i hate the fact that people say "oH yOu IdEnTiFy As A *insert neopronoun*?
