"âŚYou know I donât really have to be here if you just wanna go on and talk about yourself for a while? Find a nice wall or some ant with a little time to spare maybe."
"You've all gotten so boring as well. It's almost disappointing. No, talking to myself isn't as fun, so I think I'll pass."
vaingloriousknight:
"Bet you get do a ton of house visits then."
"Depends on who it is that's calling."

sorry i haven't been around on tumblr much, guys! i've recently started a new job (it won't last long, though. i've only been hired for a week or so) and what with the sudden heat we englishmen aren't used to, my motivation to do anything has hit a rock bottom. i've only been able to do quick comment replies over at dear_mun on dreamwidth. ; u ; it shouldn't take me long to get situated back into normal routine and for my muse to come flying back, though! i'll get all replies and drafts and starters (and replies to starters) done then. thank you for being so patient! i'll probably be hanging around on skype, if anyone needs me. just ask and i'll give it to you. c:

âIt may not be bliss, but itâll save you a lot of trouble not knowing everything. Then again, there are problems in knowing too little, too. So I suppose there isnât some happy medium somewhere. So, how goes your life, Hyne?â
"I would rather know if someone close to me was going to betray me and stab me in the back rather than staying in the bliss of thinking all is well. It has been well, so far, minus one or two points. And yourself? How goes everything with you?"
capti-in-tempore replied to your post: "Iâm not quite sure what is going on right now.."
"Sometimes itâs better not to know whatâs going on."
"Ignorance isn't bliss, even if people would like to believe so."
vaingloriousknight:
Oh that statement and the air of arrogance and indifference that lay within his tone, that definitely tousled the scarred blondâs nerves. Fully aware of the story of Hyne, it was he who had woven the neverending cycle of Sorceresses being born and forced with a fate they can never alter. A drastically heavy and weighed responsibility that many has to bear in spite of their hesitance. It finally clicked within his mind that it is this person, this deity that created the seed wherein its fruition can either fall into the light or the darkness.
He created Ultimecia. Indirectly it may be, he is still the root cause for the suffering they had to endure, not just by the time witchâs wrath, but also the Adelâs. An infant he may have been, but his parents, maternal parents, fell victims to the evil and chaos wrought by the evil Sorceress; the others unfortunate as well to receive the same tragedy.
Far from a warrior of justice he may be, hands still tainted with his sins and grave errors, but such fury that boiled within his veins. Every inch of rippled muscle tightened as leather-clad hands balled into angry fists, taut shoulders trembling with anger as he glowered at the ethereal being before him. "Bastard, youâre the reason for all of this. Everything we nearly died for.â Multiple times, the lion and the rest had teetered dangerously close to the edge, but saviorâs grace spared them from their untimely demise. "And all you worry is how you canât have any fun in here while we continue to do the dirty work."Â
Hyne was firmly in the belief that the humans must create their own fates, that he no longer had control over what happened and hadn't since the day he had split himself in half and left them to their own devices. Taking on the blame for those he viewed as less in worth than, say, a gardening tool would be completely ridiculous -- and his worst idea yet, for sure. Though he had been blamed many times already, it didn't weigh down on his shoulders at all. He could brush it off way too easily, find that he just didn't care and move on to the next person who would scream from the rooftops of how he had caused this or that. The humans had created their own torment, he believed. Ultimecia ending up with his powers hadn't been planned. Rather, it was her predecessors fault for choosing her to have the powers, and the one before her who gave it to her so she could pass it along. Those choices were made of the tool's own violation, and he could proudly state that he had had nothing to do with it, even if they chose to say otherwise. Hyne seemed to sigh, roll his eyes against the accusation and shrug it off once more. "Oh, please," and he was close to sneering at the ex-Knight. "All of this had nothing to do with me. It just shows that you tools can't do anything by yourselves without fucking things up," Oops, language-- though it definitely showed that he didn't give a damn, then or later or any other time. "I owe you nothing. Don't expect me to come here and fix everything and lend a helping hand."
rapusodosu:
"Resolve." Uncaring to the entourage was he currently, though with intrigue did he hone in on verse shrouded by mystery themes. His gaze seemed commanding, silver-tongue lapping up the suitable, pastoral phrases to shower this quarry with. âUnusual is perhaps a dire word to choose to characterize something ruddy with runes and tales of the north. Enigmatic could be a word that could describe you also, sir."
"And that makes a difference?" He wondered, more to himself than anything. Though, perhaps it was easy to see the answer and understand why it did. There weren't many who could say that as an answer recently, he had found, and it made him unsure over whether or not he should be disappointed. "And such words have been very overused lately. Almost so much that they have lost all meaning. Though, I won't disagree with you on either part. I've been told I am such many times, especially recently."
sorceressknight:
"Sorry buddy, if you keep promising to be such a powerful opponent while actinâ like a dick, youâre just gonna get me all excited"
"Excited? My, someone needs to watch what is happening with themselves.. And don't worry. I'm definitely both of the things you described."

brujamadre:
In all of the times Edea has dreamt of Hyne, and itâs been quite a few, her reveries have given form to a female incarnation. Â She was raised and grew up believing in the goddess.
Still, what she feels in the presence of this obviously male figure, is unmistakable. Â She just knows.
Is this a dream? Â What is happening? Â Have I died? Â Why is he smiling at me like that?
âI-I donât understand."
Doesn't understand. There weren't many who did, and all Hyne could do was let out a small, barely audible laugh. Of course she wouldn't â no one did, when it came to trying to understand a god and what they did. Though thinking that they thought him to be a goddess almost made him cringe, especially since he had always been in a male vessel. "Of course not," he agreed lightly. "There aren't many that would. You're not alone in that."
urbisxspeciem:
"Youâre doing everything wrong. And Iâm leaving. I would easily deal with Scarmiglione better than you."
"It's alright. I've been told that I'm very difficult."
"I'm not quite sure what is going on right now.."
mundisapientia:
"Wait, that isnât want I meant," he didnât mean to sound fortuidious; or make it seem that he is actually insulting the other man. It is completely fine to speak your mind, though heâd always wondered why the strong tended to keep their hierarchy by rousting those deemed weak. It doesnât matter, at this distinct moment, that the other believed him to be feminine or frail. Comprehending his weaknesses, it is a process of enlightenment that allows him to become even stronger with time. Over and over, he must rekindle that confidence; Armin spoke to be heard, but the wisdom embedded within him never allowed his tone to rise with aggression. Heâd be the one to whisper rather then scream, proving to perceiver even when being mockedâ. It is the law of their world, and of life in general, such routine played easily into him. It would not harm him in the slightest, no matter how brutish this stranger could become. "Itâs just," he began cautiously, hoping not to sound abrasive. "How will you ever have a friend if you keep on closing yourself off?"
Closed off. No one had ever told him that he was so, and perhaps it was because they knew who he was (eventually), but stillâ he was completely unsure what gave him the impression that he was closed off. The idea of it was so ridiculous to Hyne that he couldn't quite believe it, actually. Isolation for years on end could, perhaps, be considered closing himself off, but it was for good reason. It prevented the tools from finding him once more, as much as they had tried to do so, but the god didn't think it was closing himself off (and damn, he was never going to get over that). One thing that did impress him, as mild as it was and as much as he would never admit it, was that the boy was willing to speak up against someone he didn't know, to share his opinion despite it all. Confidence like that wasn't found in many people lately, and Hyne had to stop himself from sending him an approving look. Even with that mild approval, it didn't stop him from being rather incredulous over his words. That, and indignant. (Closed off-- hmph.) "Dear boy," he started, idly wondering if he would take offence to being called 'boy' as others did. "What makes you think that I have closed myself off? Or that I even want a friend?"
mundisapientia:
âMyâhair? Is my hair that feminine?â    Hastily reaching up to grasp a small strand of blond tresses, the bright blue hues dart towards the elongated threads. It is perhaps as long as Mikasaâs, perhaps even shorter then that. But her obsidian locks are some of the most beauteous that the soldier has seen. Therefore, he does not see the opposing maleâs argument as poised. Nothing quite stands out to the tactician as beingâgirlish. Heâd be the first to ever admit that his physique is not as defined as his close friendâs. Nor is he suitable to fully encompass the masculinity factor. But he certainly does not dress like a woman. "âHello," he murmurs; not even certain as to address the man that attempted to prod him.    Hypocrisy indeed, but isnât that the basis of any egocentric statement?    It doesnât take too long for the observant soldier to note that this one isnât exactly human. But he does not seem to be of the Titan strain either, which is really his only priority as a member of the Survey Corps. "âYou arenât very perceptive to talking with strangers, are you?"
With a relatively curious look on his face, Hyne watched as the blond repeated the same gesture as he had done, moving his hand to his hair as though to check how long it was. Strange, he thought. Had he not known beforeâ? Still, he wasn't about to say anything against what he was doing and delve further into being a hypocrite, much as he could use this as an opportunity to mock another human - one of many, in the end. The reply to his greeting was quiet, though definitely louder than a whisper that those who knew him spoke with when first meeting, and it just made Hyne wonder why people spoke so quietly. Didn't humans enjoy speaking their minds? Speaking loudly, as well? It seemed to be the only way they could talk to one another lately, from what he had observed. Just one more thing he wasn't going to comment on, really. "Perceptive?" He parroted, blinking a little owlishly at the stranger. "Why would I need to be perceptive?" In all honestly, he never had been. There had been no use for it when speaking to the tools he had made, really.

"I can never understand why a boy would want to have such girly hair," A moment after, Hyne scrunched up his nose and tugged at his own locks, sighing at its length. "Though I suppose I can't really talk. Hypocrisy isn't something I like to indulge in," Again he was hopping to another subject when he turned back to the strange blond in front of him. Small. Girly-looking. Unusual, compared to those he had seen before, really. There was, however, a certain strength around him: one he had seen hanging onto a select few around Balamb Garden. "â.. Hello."
