Can you reblog if you don't mind me coming into your ask ic, even if we've got a thread?

He wasn’t sure what gave him pause, enough to pull out one of the earbuds that was blasting a song into his brain. His name? Nah. Couldn’t be.
Seifer made to stuff the earbud back in and heard it again.
Seifer!
He turned in the direction of the sound; a kid, dark hair, waving a picture, stood in the middle of the street like she had a death wish.
What the hell was she? Six? Seven? There was the slight nagging sensation that her voice sounded a little familiar, but as Seifer Almasy did not go about making passing acquaintance with children—
"What?" he demanded of the kid, because as far as he knew, he was the only person in Balamb with that name, and she seemed pretty damn insistent on finding him.
No red telltale streaks to signify it was her, that tall gangly girl with a very apparent death wish every time she skipped along the timelines to fix things for the better. At this age, she supposed she could be dead pretty quickly, but only if she wasn't careful...apparently her years spent as an older teen or young adult completely slipped her mind now that she was inhabiting the body of someone significantly younger. Gods, it sucked to be so small. And it seemed fruitless to be looking for Seifer like this, but she needed to confirm something since the last time she was here and he would be the key. Sort of. Sort of the key, really....all right, he wasn't all that important to her mission, but the guy was her only known contact in Balamb and possibly the only one she could trust at the moment. Did she tell him about her special features last time? Ah, well. She could say it now. And as luck would have it, he found her first! "Seifer! I found you! Finally! My arms were starting to get tired!" Would he know it was her? "I got lost looking for you, too...geez I hate being little...can't see worth a damn down here...It's Julia by the way...um...hi!" Smooth, Julia Raine. Real smooth. At least better than the times she used to throw pick up lies at him.
"Hey! Hey, excuse me! I'm trying to find my uncle, have you seen him?" A young girl with brown hair was waving around an old picture in the middle of the streets of Balamb, trying to gain any attention that she could. She wasn't supposed to be out here alone, she knew, but time was sort of short for the child at the moment. There were so many thoughts going through her head as she rushed to and fro, showing every adult she could the faded photo she had of a striking looking man with blond hair and piercing eyes. Frankly, Julia's precious little feet could not take much more of this. Then again, the body did not match the mind once again; she was an adult trapped in a child's body until her next unfortunate regeneration or some such. Hopefully next time she died she could wind up possessing an older version of herself, thanks. "Excuse me! I need to find my uncle Seifer!"
People’s feelings are memories that transcend time.

Everyone seems so on edge and unhappy.
Here.
Have a baby Julia. She will give you all love and cuddles.
And flowers from Grandma Raine's garden of pretty flowers.
Just please don't be mad at each other.
Let the baby Julia love flow through you.
She didn’t care if she bloodied her own clothing. Quistis was quick to scoop the other female up to get some more blood pumping through her. The Curaga would help close any wounds and stop any excess bleeding, but internal bleeding was also a worry, especially since she wasn’t aware of what happened. "I’m taking you to the infirmary. Stay with me, alright?" she urged. Dizziness and shock could lead to more complications and moving her in this manner was enough of a risk already, but Julia needed to get to a safe place. There was a lot of blood. It was possible that she would need to be given blood to make up for what was lost. "Can you tell me what happened so that I may help you?" she asked, occasionally glancing down at her pale face as she made her way up the steps and through the entrance gates leading to the lobby.
There was a protesting whine from the injured girl, but not much else escaped her lips. Every nerve was on fire and while she hadn't been aggravating every single rip in flesh, she'd been fine. Ready to bite the proverbial bullet, as the case were. Coming to find help....it happened without her realizing it. She wanted to live -- a sentiment of survival Julia thought she'd long discarded. Live long enough to save the life of another, was the motto she'd learn to live by. Her own was inconsequential....when had she become such a defeatist? "I'll....try." That was all Julia could promise, fighting the darkness at the edge if her vision. Blood. Red. She could see it. Colour. Like the beautiful shade of cobalt in her saviour's eyes. Was this...the end again? She'd often leave seeing the world in all of it's splendor... In her pocket was the watch, ticking away. Tick, tock, tick, tock. In rhythm with the blood dripping a trail on the ground. "I....I wanted to save a life. An important one..." Julia wheezed, working harder to draw breath in. Gods, even her own blood looked so beautiful to her, in this twisted state so close to death. "...Got shot at...took some rounds through my arm...shoulder...>" She cringed in pain. "...Everywhere..."
"Ju…li…a?" Quistis could see the blood dripping from the young woman’s hand, and while she was trained to give medical assistance, that was a lot of blood and the source and nature of the injury was hard to assess. For the time being, she simply cast curaga on her, hoping it would help long enough for her to give her proper treatment.
Rare was it for the teen to seek out assistance from anyone, lest she inevitably drawn them deeper and deeper into the hole she'd dug herself. Julia didn't like asking for help, but in this instance, if she lost all feeling in her limb she'd be pretty useless. A swordsman who lost their arm would wind up quite useless, despite having a second.
She just chuckled softly, trying to laugh off the direness of her situation as her hand grasped at the shoulder connecting to the injured arm. As the Curaga washed over her, she felt some flesh knit together as well as bone snap to place, but the worst of it was not over -- magic could only go so far.
"Thanks," said Julia, grateful. Her head swam and the world seemed to haze and shake, but she stood still, head high and with a wry smile. "Thanks, Quistis...I er...." Got herself shot up pretty bad in her arm while trying to save someone's life. Again. But at least her own wasn't forfeit, so she had to be doing something, right?
"...I'm hurt."
"Anyone mind...lending me a hand...?"
Once upon a time, when Julia was three, Zone forever traumatized her with this huge as hell giant cat plushie that nearly suffocated her. It was big and heavy and she will forever scream at the mere thought of this thrice bedamned cat toy.
"You...you...JERK!"
