Sitting and staring at the ceiling is easier.
Staring at the stars would just make him think of them again.
Not like there are many stars here anyway, too much light pollution to get a good look.
It’s easy to let the mind wander regardless.
It never really mattered where he was looking.
Maybe Dib finally got someone to believe him. Someone he likes that believes him. Keef never doubted did he?
Maybe Zim isn’t lonely anymore either. Maybe the two finally stopped fighting each other. Wouldn’t that be nice? That makes one of them not lonely.
He should really put it to rest. Get some sleep.
