thinking about. the similarities between liah and that white haired blindfold guy

#not naming him!!!! dont want this to show up in his tag!!!! what if i say something wrong!!!! his fans frighten me!!!!!!#oc: liah #so anyway like... something about both being so very powerful and their entire lives being defined by this #both r also proud and kind of unhinged. perhaps because of all these expectations imposed on them because of their power #and like... idk... both have a rather antagonistic relationship w their superiors... both r disillusioned with the way things r handled...#i've mentioned before how i think that the jedi council was content to sic liah at any problems that needed solving with brute force #and this contributed to her decision to brute force the mandalorian attack as well... and thus began her fall to the dark side etc #and like isn't that basically what the guy is seen as by his superiors as well... just a superweapon or whatever...#both also kill their ex best friend. or whatever they were 🤨#the circumstances that led to this r somewhat different of course but stilllll the parallel exists!!!!#in my head it's totally canon that liah regains some of her memories from their padawan n jedi knight days when they were besties #and memories from the mandalorian wars. not all of them but enough to make the final confrontation with malak far more emotionally complex #like idk the way the game went about it was just like 'oh you don't remember any of it? it's totally chill then. let's go kill malak'#like noooo give me liah curled up on the floor holding her head trying not to scream/cry/throw up as she Remembers #give me liah confronting malak and being sooo conflicted. knowing they were inseparable once. wondering if she could get through to malak #but also wanting payback n being so pissed that he bested her and in a kind of cowardly way too. she expected better from her apprentice :/#sometimes i also think abt a prequel era AU where liah takes on an apprentice #not rly interested in teaching some kid at first but i think similarly to the guy she would want to change the jedi order from the inside #and raises the apprentice with that in mind. and uses very unconventional teaching methods & philosophies that the council frowns at #ofc she never gets to change anything bc in this AU she dies during order 66. but not before putting up an epic fight (just like the guy)
