people who are trans deserve the right to transition, not because it’s a medical treatment or because dysphoria can be classified as a mental illness but because we’re human beings who should be allowed to do whatever the fuck we want to our own bodies! this is a basic human right!

self-censorship rant under the cut

Nothing shows the current state of the internet quite like censoring pictures of characters that are either fully dressed or clothed no more sensual than one would be on a hot summer day or at the beach because they're in vaguely sexy poses and it makes me sad. And it's all the fault of puritans who completely lose their shit if they're reminded that women have bodies or people might do filthy shit like hold each others hands sometimes (ew, affection).

like I'm guilty of this too if you are in a community where one person starts censoring genitalia free ref sheets everyone just has to go along because you want to be considerate and it feels really weird to not do it if everyone else does but I wish I could snap my fingers and make that go away.

this is not me trying to be mean, it's definitely not directed at a specific person, again I am included in this, it's something I notice almost every day from all sorts of people with all sorts of backgrounds and honestly I feel like the general censorship culture is poisoning all of us
