it’s ok if the attraction you experience doesn’t seem to make any sense. if it doesn’t fit into any of the boxes you’ve been given. if it sits in some strange liminal space between and around any of the words you have. attraction is weird and we’re never going to have all the words to capture all the complexity. just accept and enjoy the weirdness of it all

Quit beating yourselves up over falling for someone who doesn’t reciprocate your feelings. It happens, and it’s okay. You’re not stupid and there’s nothing wrong with you. That individual just may not be the right person for you, or maybe it’s just not the right time. Trust yourself and know there might be another reason that individual is in your life. Understand that there might be a lesson for you to learn from the experience.

3) There is no rule book for how you should feel. However you feel is valid. 

4)  Please don’t say that, “Well, it could have been worse…” I want you to stop and remember that it should have never happened at all.

5) You are not weak. No matter what. 

6) Choosing whether to forgive or not is up to you. No one else. 

7) You are allowed to grieve for what you lost when you went through trauma. 

8) You deserved better.
