I have goals

I want to have a career so bad. like a firefighter, or an animal control officer. I want to work in a place where I don’t have to clean up and close at the end of the day. I want to live in a place of my own, where I can decorate the way I want, and not have to ask anyone if its okay. I want to have access to things like a gym, and a hot tub, and a pool, stuff like that. I want to have a group of friends who are also professional adults who are down to get wings and drinks any time. I want to be happy and comfortable where I am financially. I want to be in school again so bad and actually believe that I am getting something out of it, and actually enjoy it. I want these things so bad.  When I think about my future, I think about my house, and my job, and my buddies, and how happy and depression free I am. I have goals, and I cannot wait.

Witch Mom

I can’t wait to be that Witch Mom™ that draws little sigils in my kids lunchboxes and puts sleep satchets under their pillows when they’re having problems sleeping. I can’t wait to tell them stories of folklore. I can’t wait to sing them songs with little spells hidden in the lyrics. I can’t wait to do all the witchy mom things

But most of all, I can’t wait to sit them down when they’re old enough and explain everything to them. I can’t wait to let him know that they don’t have to practise like I do. I can’t wait to tell them that whatever path they choose to take in life is okay with me as long as it doesn’t harm them or anyone else. I can’t wait to teach them about acceptance and I can’t wait to accept them and whether or not they choose the same path that I did.

I wish people could just say how they feel like ‘Hey I really don’t like when you do that to me’ or ‘Hey I’m in love with you’ or ‘Hi I really miss you and I think about you all the time’ without sounding desperate. Why can’t everyone be painfully honest and just save people the trouble.
