FUCKING DEVASTATING
fun fact: firefox can get around many "oops you already read 3 articles this month" paywalls very easily
step 1: click the reader mode button in your address bar
step 2: f5
that's it! that's all the steps.
This is also available on mobile!
I've ran into a few websites that are smart enough to not load the full text of the article before slapping the paywall popup on top, but reader mode has a very high success rate for burrowing under the wall.
Reader mode is also a very easy workaround for flashing design elements, a font you hate, poor contrast, video and chatbots that overlay content, etc. etc. You can easily set the font, text size, colours, page width, and line spacing to whatever is comfortable for you.
Reader mode also gives a reading time estimate at the top, and there's a built in text-to-voice feature, if those are useful for you.
Buzzfeed really said We are going directly for the throat with this one, huh
seems way too apt now
some of my fav tweets/media reactions from today
I didn’t care about the whole adam levine situation, but ned fulmer from the try guys??? I’m going to be taking that personally
the general public finding out ned cheated with someone they work with, him getting kicked out of the try guys, and then him admitting to the cheating and who he cheated with all within like 20 hours is so wild. ain’t shit 😭😭😭
"consensual workplace relationship"
An affair with a subordinate.
Call it what it was.
wild couple weeks for former buzzfeed employees one won an emmy for her original comedy show. one was kicked out of his company for cheating on his wife with an employee. and two of them went ghost hunting.
My favorite reactions to Scandals like this are the "I do not care about this person HOWEVER where there is drama there is ME" bitches.
the try guys try testifying in their ex-buddy's divorce in favor of his wife
Alright folks please do not expect or pressure any members of the Try Guys company or their partners about this situation. The main four guys often referred to each other as brothers, so this is probably extremely hard on them. Especially do not harass Ariel in this. The best thing to do is just wait for her to say something, whenever that may be
People roasting Ned on Twitter is the funniest thing
I'm really sorry for Ariel, who has two kids with this man who had this whole thing about loving his wife and end up cheating on her, with an employee
I refuse to be the person who cross posts his apology but good lord am I tired of wording like “any pain my actions may have caused” my brother in christ it’s not hypothetical
i know that the buzzfeed staff is giggling and kicking their feet in the office over this
