"Ah, thank you." He flashed a polite smile, like how he was raised to do and sat beside the miss. He placed all his belongings on the desk— the required study book, a notebook and a pen. Though being one of the star students, he didn’t know of everyone. More importantly, he didn’t know of her. The girl he chose to sat beside primarily because she looked harmless. So he stuck out a hand towards her, still holding that polite smile. "Cornelius Butler, miss."
"--Don't mention it" she said with a small hand wave.
As her new company settled himself
As her new company settled himself on the desk she shot an annoyed look at the clock on the wall. Why wasn't the professor in the class as well? Things like that irritated her. Probably because she was a perfectionist but she decided to divert her attention to the top student sitting next to her. Luckily that happened second before he hold out his hand. To which she hesitated for a second before smiling on and shaking it.
"--I know" she replied. "You are among the top three" she explained. "Renée Luda, delighted to be your acquaintance Mister Butler"
lxrceny: Sonny nodded, clearly interested. What she was asking didn’t change much from what he usually did, but she seemed more serious in her business than Devin was or any other idiot he had to run errands for every once in a while. “ Seems reasonable to me, ” he stated. He sure wished he could afford doing the same. Maybe some day … “ Ah, sure, I’d love a glass of water if you don’t mind. ” He paused, before asking again, “ And when would I start, then? I’m quite available nowadays, my other employers seem to be a bit more laxist and less assholes, ironically. So, today, tomorrow, when should I take my place behind the wheels? ” He smiled as charmingly as he could, he always tried to leave some effect on his employers. Sometimes he beat them up, but he wanted to leave a good impression. Besides, she seemed like a good person. At least, someone he might appreciate while on the job.
"Well, I am truly glad that we are on the same page" she said with a smile that rarely anyone ever did. But this was how she functioned. If she needed someone she would lure them to her. Make them believe she was their friend. That she would never hurt them or anyone. "No problem" she replied still with the smile. "I should have asked sooner. Business sometimes makes me forget my manners" she added. With little effort she got up and walked to the kitchen. Grabbing one of her many unusual shaped glasses, she poured cold water from the bottle she had in the fridge. Then she placed the glass on a silver tray and walked back to the living room. Placing the tray on the table between them she then sat back. "I like your energy" she told him. "Would tonight be fine? It is no important thing. I just need a ride to a dinner party. If such a sort notice doesn't suit you, tomorrow is just fine as well" she replied. This was another trap. An innocent start just to assure him.
modus operandi.
thxcat: ❝ Not really. Out of my own selfish desire, if anything other than habit. But dare I ask, what is ’of your taste’ ? ❞
"And on your way to accomplishing that, you will make the girls feel as such. And I am pretty sure my taste is everything that is not yours"

verlxten: A soft sigh left his lips as the other’s words reached his ears, he stood still, slowly annalyzing her words. "Well— I guess that’s true I just— I’m not a fan of giving bad grades I suppose. But yeah it— it should probably not take me too long.”
"It is empathy, no one likes receiving bad grades so we feel we shouldn't make others go through it however it not always works out" she says with a smile. "I am Renée Berkley, thought may as well introduce myself"
modus operandi.

❝ Yeah, whatever. Look. You seem like a woman who likes to get straight to the point. Let me take you to dinner. Afterwards I’ll take you to a nice hotel, get you out of that gorgeous dress, and you can lecture me about consequences as long as you want. How’s that sound? ❞
"It sounds like you were thinking that it is very generous. However I am not, interested at all. It is not of my taste, you see"

||calling it a night, sleep tight!
amerrynote:
Obviously middle of the night was not a good time. However since the girl had managed to break in, there was no way she would let her go away so easily. "How would you have felt had I came into your house in such a manner?" she asks in a softer voice a method she would use with her patients. Quickly but softly she follows her before placing a hand on her shoulder. "Is it something with your family?" she asks knowing the topic would get her at least some answers.
vxngefulghost: She light gave a chuckle standing back attentive. This woman was interesting. Not a flicker of fear in her. It was interesting to say the least. The figure shifted over to the edge of her bed looking over her shoulder. I am only here to observe. When the time comes. I’ll show you my true face. And what kind of monster I can be. Like I said. This is your only chance.” the woman in the eyes. Her eyes coming into view a brighter blue shade. ”Taking orders are boring. Aubrey phased beside her looking ”Make every second count.”
Had she been someone who laughed regularly she would have done so yet. However it was extremely rare to hear her laugh. That aggregated with her feeling sick she merely gives an amused smile.
"There is a grand difference between observing and showing who you really are" she commented simply. What had amused her was the other calling herself a monster. Did she had any faint idea whom she was dealing with? Her attitude would suggest that surely no. Because had she, she would had chosen entirely different words. What mattered now was what to do. It had been a while since she had messed with someone mentally. This would be so much fun.
"Thought we had reached an agreement about giving orders?" she says sitting up on her eyebrows looking at her. "And to what should I be counting exactly?" she asks.

He had already been rushing. Cornelius had other things on his mind and had nearly forgotten about his early afternoon class today. One of the top performers, he wasn’t going to let his reputation go down for one day. His parents would have a fit if that were to happen, wouldn’t they? Ah, he walked into the classroom with a few minutes to spare. Blue hues glanced over for a free seat, and thankfully finding one. ”Would you mind if I sit beside you, miss?”
Like everything else that she did, on being on time she was perfect too. Or in more humble words; good at being on time. So five minutes prior to the class she had already been seated, her books, notebooks and pencils all on the table. Crossing her legs then she begun waiting for the class to start. Much to her surprise another student takes a seat next to hers. Usually she wouldn't have company. Mostly because she would be extremely picky about it. But looking at the guy now next to her she decided that it would bring no harm to letting him sit next to her thus the rest of the seats were taken. Also she recalled him being one of the star students of the year. At least no moron had joined her. "--No, I wouldn't mind it at all"

vxngefulghost: higherxjustice Tick.. Tick.. Tick.. She looked over towards the clock. It was a bit too long for her tastes. Waiting on the living to finally die was time consuming. But this one.. This one was different. She could have sworn the woman’s eyes opened. That’s when she took the chance. Aubrey’s body leaned over her. A jolly smile plastered onto her red stained lips. Her voice in a soft, gentle tone finally spoke.
“I was wondering when you would wake up.. No matter. What should we do today? I will tell you now. You have one chance.”
Pain was a concept she was not exactly familiar with. You see, she was always the one who would get away. So feeling her head hurt and feel dizzy, really too her by surprise. However not enough to scare her. Well aware she was of whom she was and what she was capable of.
So opening her eyes, she didn't flinch at seeing someone standing over her. Giving the symptoms she had been pretty sure of what would come next. And she couldn't help but think 'amateur'.
"--The problem, is that I have never been good with taking orders"
To be honest Renée didn't have friends. No true friends at least. Yes she would smile and do favors and act like the perfect friend. And no soul would doubt anything. But as said, it was truly just an act for her. Her relations with people were beforehand planned in her head and any surprises weren't welcomed. But she was a predator that adapted. Taking a deep breath she lets her features relax a little. "I have no idea how you came in and we will need to discuss that seriously later" after all she couldn't risk having her house being easy to break into. "First though, I hope this is an emergency because come in to my house without my prior knowledge is a serious problem, Maia"
modus operandi.

❝ You have an interesting way of slaughtering poetry. Everything picked to the bone. There’s no room for argument You are completely right. Yet, I stand by my statement…Mrs. Berkely. Don’t think I’ve been deterred because of the title. ❞
"There is a word for that and it is being realistic. And it is up to you what you do with the hard cold facts served to you. Just like you are free to do as you wish by knowing my actual title. But remember that every choice has its consequences."
