As I post this image I’m frustrated. I stuck around on Instagram because I use it for my design work and I have a base there. I used to have an art base there but I’ve been shadow banned and today I looked back on my post over the years and realised how many conversations with other artists I’m now missing out on. I miss it, I’ve never had traditional art friends in real life so it was so nice to have conversations about work and techniques and now I’m algorithmic-ly excluded. Tumblr is the same deal. Twitter doesn’t work for me....and I run so many other projects I can’t reliably commit to subscription based platforms......sigh. Where do the shadow banned artists go?
