Can't believe "Juste la fin du monde" will turn 10 this year (the most underrated and misunderstood current movie, imo)
Can't believe Gaspard left us 4 years ago already...
The final of this film (pictured) will always be my favorite ever. Yes, ever, of all the cinema. Really, it's the best from the best - acting, captured in beautiful, mildly blurry close-up, colors, that not only look, but feel over-heated and, of course, usage of the legendary haunting "Natural Blues" by Moby. It's heartbreakingly open, but oddly satisfying finale both for Louis, his family and us, viewers.
No wonder Gaspard won Cesar Award (French Oscar, dare I say) for his stellar, subtle, soulful portrayal of Louis and Xavier Dolan won the same award both for directing and editing.
