I want to let you know that I’m genuinely sorry but I don’t know how
Waking up in Tokyo a week from now 🇺🇸✈️🇯🇵
Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding.

Someone explain to me how going to college for 4-6 years, and accumulating a debt of anywhere between 30k-200k in student loans, all for a piece of paper that doesn’t gaurentee shit, is a good idea. I know too many people that have graduated from good schools(UCI, UCSD) that aren’t able to do anything with their degree. A lot of them end up being servers in restaurants or moving back to their home country in Asia to teach English... For me, my goals, and my plan to achieve these goals, college seems like a colossal waste of time. Why would I want to spend 4-6 years of my time learning a lot of arbitrary shit and a little bit of useful shit, while getting myself into 5 figures of debt for every year spent going to school, when I could cut the bullshit and just learn the useful information with the help of the best resource on the planet(the internet) in a fraction of the time, for a fraction of the cost?? Work smarter, not harder... imagine what you could do with all of that money you would be spending to get a degree. Warren buffet said it himself, everything he learned at all the business schools that he attended, can be learned on the internet. College breeds instruction followers not leaders. “The A students work for the B students, the C students run the companies, the D students dedicate the buildings.” So if someone could convince me how getting into a huge debt for a piece of paper that doesn’t gaurentee a job is worth 4-6 years of my life and all the stress that comes with it, I’m all ears
