Bark gives a nod in response. He knew. Wanting to be compensated for pretty much anything had been a way of life at one point. Not that heâd go and mention that. Itâd probably just raise more suspicion.
Bark scratches at his neck some, and does look around, though it doesnât last long.
He soon returns, looking a bit embarrassed as heâs written down something else.
âDo you have any suggestions? While this is all interesting, I donât really know much about technology.â
It was a bit hard to keep up with it, in his opinion. Especially after heâd been out of touch with it for two years. He knew the simple and basic stuff, and that felt like enough.
âYeah?â Nack replied, looking a little confused. If Bark knew what he was talking about, then why didnât he ask for anything in return? It didnât make all that much sense to the weasel, but he decided that maybe he was just too used to expecting that sort of stuff. It was a relief to him, too, so he decided to not press any further.
His fidgeting lessened slightly as Bark looked around. Without his attention on him he could relax a little bit more. He grew more alert when the bear returned, leaning over to look at what he had written. He blinked, looking up at him and taking a moment to respond.
âOh! Sure, o-of course!â It was a bit odd, having this bear that looked so much like his own ask him for suggestions.
The entire situation was odd and overwhelming, but he was going to try his darnedest to make it work.
âW-Well, I have a lot of stuff here.â He adjusted his hat. âCameras, home protection stuff, all that jazz. I, um, also have some little robot cameras designed to look like Mobini, which youâve, um, seen.â A nervous smile.
âI-It really depends on what youâre looking for.â He rubbed the back of his head, almost sheepishly. âI personally really like the lilâ robots Iâve been makinâ, but thatâs just me. They can double as simple companions, sorta. Iâm still workinâ out the kinks but Iâm tryinâ to make âem so they can double as pets.â
