sometimes i get sad that caine doesnt dress himself up nearly as much as he does for the humans (makes sense since it's typically an adventure gimmick and he doesnt go on the adventures) but then i see an opportunity to spin yet another unfounded headcanon that he clings so tightly to his own perceived sense of identity that he refuses any change to his model out of fear that it could warp anyone's perception of him to something he cant control nor predict
