“I am a bright and colorful pinata and god is a 13 year old birthday boy whose parents have just announced their divorce.”
— Edward Elric
You know? I really like the saying "a villain is just a victim whose story hasn't been told." It holds so much meaning and so much potential. It's the fact that there is objectively no right or wrong by society's moral obligation. There is no good or bad, everyone just does what they think is right, or they're driven by their heart's desire. Some are set by religion, and I very much respect those, as that's the base of my own moral compass, but more in depth things are to be chosen by members of society. No one should force their beliefs onto others, and I think that's very beautiful
Writing Prompt #439
“Am…am I…?”
“Dead? Yep, as a doorknob.”
“Isn’t it—Never mind. Does that make you…?”
“God? Oh heavens no. I’m your guardian angel!”
“Uh, then why didn’t you guard me from that?”
“Listen, we’re only allowed to intervene so much. And you, my friend, have needed so much intervening that I started flipping coins to decide if I should or shouldn’t get involved.”
"اللهم إني أسألك خير هذه الليلة و خير ما بعدها و أعوذ بك من شر هذه الليلة و شر ما بعدها."
Good night ✨🌃
If the 0th dimension is a dot, then infinite dots make the first dimension, which is a line. Infinite lines make a pane, which is the second dimension. Infinite panes make space, which is the 3rd dimension. Now, infinite spaces would make a tesseract, which would be the 4th dimension.
If we think that infinite spaces are specific moments in time, then that makes the 4th dimension the history and future of our universe.
Going even further, the 5th dimension would be made of infinite tesseracts, which is every possible history of the universe, linking to the fact that infinite realities coexist in multiple different universes. In each universe in the multiverse, infinite realities exist, maybe even have different laws of nature than ours.
It's like a book that's never been written, there is no first or last. The start depends on the reader, so there really is no past and no future. It all exists in whichever order our minds interpret. Which means that historians have been brainwashing us all this time.
But what really is time? It's an abstract concept of the mind, according to physics. It is one dimension of many, once again, in no particular order. Then again, there could be even more universes inside the multiverse. What if black holes just lead to new universes, but it's an irreversible process, that's why you can't return from there? What if our own universe is a black hole in another, we just can't get out because there is no exit? The question isn't why anything exists, but if anything does exist?
As I've mentioned before, our universe may or may not be a black hole. From the diagram, the universe roughly looks like a horn. We can only see the face of the observable universe as the rest is too far for us to see.
As we know, the heavier the object, the lower they sink into gravity. But that's only the second dimension, as the diagram is only in the second dimension. We know that black holes are so heavy they warp space-time with their weight.
There is an odd resemblance between both of them that our universe might just be a black hole as well. This adds fuel to the fact that countless black holes in our univserse are just more universes with different laws of nature.
It isn't a theory. It's a stone cold fact, and once you've believed so, you can freely move between them. In every universe, a piece of you exists. You've always existed in each and every universe, only taking on different forms. Endless possibilities are present, they are already formed. For every thought you've had, a reality exists. No matter how you look at it.
It's a tough choice, but the panel that makes me cry the most in the tpn manga is this one
"Now we can just love them." It's over.
And the way the mama just breaks down... whew it always gets me.
It made me realise exactly how trapped the adult humans in this fucked up system really were.
It's really interesting, and kind of heartbreaking, when you compare it to the first few chapters, where the adults, Isabella and Krone, seem like the looming, unbreakable enemy. When they're really just more cattle.
There really is no difference between the cattle children and the mamas; the mamas hadn't escaped anything, only delayed their deaths by cooperating. (And can you imagine having to make that choice at the age of 12??)
I don't think they got to grow up at all, just toughen up on the outside out of desperation to survive. It really seems to me like they were still just children on the inside, scared and unable to change anything.
✨Time to shine✨
Attack on Titan is the story of 3 people. 3 very different yet connected by fate people, who represent 3 different concepts.
Pride. Hope. Rage.
As we know, the final conclusion of main characters’ development happens in the last arc of any story.
In the story, Armin represents hope. A very broad term that everyone can understand in their own way. Armin always believed people and tried to see good in them. He knows that people are flawed, but yet he continues to believe in others goodness. Even in the situation with Annie, who was distant and “bad”, Armin still approached her and believed that she is a better person than what she presents to be.
Yes, he is a sinner too. A “bad” person according to some moral standards, but Armin always tries to reach people and problems with kindness and ease. His intelligence doesn’t simply come from his erudition, but his diplomatic abilities as well.
Chapter 137 was truly Armin’s time to shine. He really did save the humanity by a very “weak” strategy, talking. He didn’t fight Zeke or physically reached Ymir or Eren. He just expressed his idea. Armin peacefully showed Zeke that life is beautiful and filled with precious memories, and made him his ally.
Mikasa, on the other hand, is prideful. She knows her own worth as well as others’ and has respect for people around her. She values life the most, because she has experienced how it feels like to be threatened. Even in the worst situation, Mikasa still chooses to fight.
If we lose, we die
If we win, we live
We can’t win if we don’t fight
Fight. Fight.
Now, it’s Mikasa’s time to prove that she is more than “yandere Eren simp” (even tho she has never been like that) by bringing Eren back. During the final arcs Mikasa learned to let Eren go and accepted his cruel side. Yes, she was in denial at first, but did she turn her back from Eren? Absolutely not. She understood that Eren can be both cold-blooded and vulnerable at the same time, because he is still an imperfect human filled with rage.
As I said in my other post (about killing Eren), Mikasa’s (and others’) choices will lead her to save Eren from his own cruelty and rage. I can’t predict the exact events that will happen in ch.138 yet, but I surely know that Mikasa will get to be Eren’s savior as he was hers 10 years ago.
