I was on youtube the other day and saw an ad for prageru and the video is titled 'Black, Millennial, Female and⌠Conservative'. So I'm white and I was wondering what you thought about what she says in the video. As I watched it I felt like a weird unease about it, like I feel like a POC wouldn't say things like that.
I havenât seen it and wonât watch it tbh. I donât have the emotional space for things like that unless itâs an emergency. Thereâs just no point. Without watching it, I can say she feels how she feels or they paid her and either way itâs super sad and garbage people will take her words as gospel or think they somehow negate the antiracist and feminist work being done, because they think we all speak for one another.
I have a lot more patience for ignorant black people than I give to ignorant white people but still very little in general for that kind of performative fuckery.
