We have been collecting all our lives because we love and are heavily influenced by Japanese subculture like anime & manga, heisei & showa era, and V-kei rock😍
As our collection grew, we started selling online to other collectors who can give our items a new home. Now, we are considering to make this passion more serious and customised to our customers!✨️❤️
What do we exactly offer?
Collector Items:
We usually collect for ourselves as we have a strong love towards works of niche and retro. When our collection is overgrowing, we sell to fellow collectors. We currently sell on Instagram, Depop, Poshmark, and Facebook Marketplace. In the near future, we plan to focus on Ebay, Instagram, and Facebook Marketplace, and possibly our own online storefront. Online Shopping:
As we are avid shoppers of collectibles, we are familiar with various Japanese shopping websites like Animate, Booth, Suruga-ya and Mericari and more. We can be the proxy and make purchases from websites that are only available only in Japanese or have limited payment methods!
Pre-Order Purchases:
We provide pre-order services for websites including Pattythree, EEO Store, Amiami.jp and Medicos Entertainment. In addition, we provide officially licensed merchandise from China as well. Since most websites are in Japanese only, we can make purchases for you to ensure the process goes smoothly!
Custom Orders:
We also offer services for specific orders and pick-up orders, such as in-person purchases and event-exclusive purchases. This service is currently seasonal only; we will make announcements when this service opens, or feel free to drop us a line and we will inform you of our availability.

1. MY DEAR☆LOVE - Otome Sim/Visual Novel
If you have been following my blog, then you would notice that I am an active member of H9O6, an indie game studio focused on delivering multimedia content with inspiration of shojo, heisei-era and other Japanese subuculture! 🌟💖
We are currently working on our very first otome visual novel that includes simulation, mini game and many other features.
Since we do not have the budget to work on the game full-time, the game development is rather slow. However, we do plan to release the game as a freeware to share our passion with everyone!

We (H9O6) are also launching a collector shop that carries niche yet creative items!
As mentioned previously, since we are working on our game as our passion (with our full-time job), we have to try to secure some extra funds to help support our game development. Thus, we have decided to launch a collector shop with proxy services! 😍 As a long-time collector of many Japanese subculture goods, it is also our passion and we love to share it with the world! ✨️

I keep a journal as to record my everyday life, because sometimes even the smallest thing could be the greatest thing that happens to me and I don't want to forget them.

It's Monday again and we're only few days away from Christmas🎄
As our previous post has mentioned, we're officially coming back from our absence! ☺️
This indicates that we'll strive to perform a consistent progress on our game MY DEAR☆LOVE !!
To go into detail, we'd like share our goals and future changes of the game which happen over the following year...
1. The NEW LOOK!! ✨️

If you have been following our updates on the project, you may already know that we have been working on the revamp of our visuals, including GUI, sprites, CGs and other micellaneous graphics.
This revamp is essential, as our existing demo merely showcases the game’s concept and does not reflect its full intricacy. The intent of our game MY DEAR☆LOVE is to bring back the old-school otome game with a touch of Heisei era, which is also our ultimate goal and theme as studio H9O6.
For this, we have done much case study and research in order to pursue the nostagic look of Heisei era. If you're interested, please check out our Ko-fi as we will have new plans covering this!

Above are some selects 👀 of our game design documents, which inlcude behind-the-scene (BTS) work such as drafts, brainstorming ideas, assets and other game design materials.

3. X (formerly Twitter) - Permanent Shutdown
Due many unpredictible changes on X (formerly Twitter), we have decided to permanently cease our updates and activity on the platform. This was a very tough decision since we have established a lovely and heartwarming community on X where we cannot find anywhere else. Nonetheless, our account will remain public for future reference. In place of X, we'll be posting and updating our activities mainly on Bluesky. And of course, you can also find us on Ko-fi!
4. Game Engine - A Possible Change↔️
We would like to announce that after careful consideration, it is highly possible that we will switch our game engine from KirikiriZ(吉里吉里Z)to Ren'Py. We had received inquiries regarding a possible release of the game on MacOS, and we are looking into workable solutions. This decision is yet to be confirmed, since we do not know if we can present the current game mechanics with Ren'Py; however, please feel free to share your thoughts with us! ☺️

Happy October! We apologize for being quiet for the past 2 weeks. We had originally intended to work on the goals for the month of October; however, as we advanced, we found it difficult due to our circumstances. Therefore, we would like to give an update about our current situation and our future plans.
What's Happening?
As you may know, H9O6 is a two-person team. Hinata Yoyo, the project lead of MY DEAR☆LOVE, will be relocating to Japan in two weeks. As a result, we have been busy with preparation which has slowed our development significantly, and unfortunately we expect more delays until Hinata Yoyo has settled down in Japan.
What are the impacts?
The greatest impact is that there will be a significant delay in game development since the team will have to work in different time zones. Other consequences include slow updates, late responses and etc. Nonetheless, we have our future plan mapped out for the final demo release:

Since Hinata Yoyo is leaving in 2 weeks, we are quite occupied with preparation. We will mainly work on sprites and GUI revamp for the final demo. In addition, we will also try to polish the writing and add contents for stat-raising simulation since the production of the current demo was rushed. There won't be much work on sound & music however we'll clean up the pieces. As for programming, we'll review the current system and design a better construction.

Hinata Yoyo will be relocated to Japan and will require time to settle. In other words, game development may stall for weeks until further news on Hinata Yoyo's end. We will focus on text-based work (writing and programming) instead of visuals. Minor updates may be made for art and programming.

We had mentioned to release the game in Q1 2025 and we are working according to this timeline. However, being a two-person team with 13-hour time difference, there are possible delays in game development at all time. As we would like to ensure the quality of the game and be consistent with our work, there is a chance of changing the timeline. We hope you all understand our hardship during this time and thank you for the support.

[NEWS] Key Visual Reveal! and August Progress Report
Hello Everyone, we’re here to reveal our long overdue key visual!
Our key visual features the main characters, Katsuya, Atsuya, Megumi, Hayato and Tamami. We aimed for a heartwarming feel for this key visual and we hope it brightens up your day too!
August Progress Report
Subsequent to post Kickstarter campaign (despite not reaching our goal), we focused on collecting feedback and data by conducting survey and researching at the beginning of the month. Most comments and feedback received were constructive and we have organize a list of them to implement our game in the future. Here are some examples:
Background aren’t self-explanatory (solution: labels/indicators for location name)
Tutorials and Manuals are not clear for Steam players (solution: in-game manual is to be included)
Language interface problems (solution: reconstruction of the programming system) … etc.
Fortunately, many of them are simple to implement as long as we have the time. As our development progresses, there will be an update on each implementation accordingly. We’re very grateful to have received much support for and interest in our game MY DEAR☆LOVE.
Furthermore, as some of you might’ve known already, BlerdyOtome streamed our game on Twitch ♥ We’re very honoured to hear player’s thoughts and experience live since this is what we want to bring to the community. Of course, her insights have helped us analyze our game in a different POV so we can improve.
In addition, we also created our Ko-fi page for any of you who’d like to show some support! Click here to visit our Ko-fi page! We’ll sort out the details of each tier in the near future. In general, as a Ko-fi supporter, you’ll have access to exclusive contents such hi-res graphics and PSDs, BTS (behind-the-scenes contents) and name in credits for the game. As for the game development progress, we’ve worked on polishing the writing for the final demo as mentioned on our monthly goal. Not only did we finish the polishing, but we also have actually gone further into the writing for 2 chapters, as well as brainstorming ideas and outlining the script of our future project… Although this was very time-consuming, it was all worth the effort! Nonetheless, it comes with a price. Since we worked heavily on the writing, our progress on visual/graphic have slowed down. Our long overdue key visual was finally completed during the week, and only one and a half of the sprite(s)… are in progress. We’re not entirely satisfied with our schedule however life does get in the way sometimes. Anyways, we’ll be posting our monthly goal of September soon and we hope to progress further.
