Well this one really promotes itself…just look at this picture, it says it all.

This was during the $1 beer Wednesday promotion (still running every week, along with other specials throughout the week), and I am not kidding when I say it is WELL worth it.  These meals are affordable and delicious, the best combination!

The enchiladas were amazing, and they were kind enough to make them to order (yes I am a picky eater!). The rice was perfect, the beef and chicken deliciously seasoned and cooked, and the taco was light and crispy.

We have been happy every time we have gone here (four times now I believe)!

If you are in the Tampa or Lakeland areas, and want to take a little trip over to Dade City, Florida– give this Mexican restaurant a try!

The beauty speaks for itself!

1. The scenery is always stunning. Not even just stunning, but breathtaking!

Pier 60 and the area surrounding happens to be my favorite part of the Clearwater Beach area, hands down. Views like this one are there to enjoy every single day. Even a rainy day is beautiful here, and worth a photo op if you can get one. 

2. Smooth, white sand...warm and soothing to lay on. And once again..beautiful!

3. SUNSETS, SUNSETS, SUNSETS (no more explanation needed here)

4.  The pier festival! I never get tired of visiting Pier 60 and enjoying the dancers, acrobats, musicians, crafts sellers, and other awesome entertainment that is provided EVERY evening at sunset. FREE. Always high energy, with great music playing in the background wherever you go, and entertainers giving their all every night. You don’t want to miss this if you have never gone!

5. The drive across the bridge from Tampa to Clearwater. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I appreciate and love this great blessing! We always roll the windows down and put on some great music, and enjoy the beauty of the sunlight glistening off the water, the wind in our hair, sea breeze dancing through the air. Even after many years of driving over the bridge to the beach, I have never tired of it, never gotten jaded. I appreciate it every single time, and it is probably my favorite part of hitting the beach. *deep breath in*, ahhhh. That’s it.

Combat Quest 2 was a huge success!

Tampa’s COMBAT QUEST 2 is now in the books and they are now headed for Combat Quest 3 in January!

There is always something to do here in the Tampa/St. Pete area, no matter what the time of year. I for one like to try new things and find something exciting --and yes, beyond the usual dinner and a movie (though we all know I love a good movie!).

I always have liked watching an occasional fight on TV here and there, but when I had the opportunity to go to Combat Quest 1, I had a BLAST. My daughter really had fun as well. 

The night was full of excitement in the air, with fighters streaming in and out of the main event space, providing great opportunities to meet and take photos with many of them. Every one of them was friendly and accommodating, and were especially sweet to my daughter, who of course was thrilled.

The fights got better as the night went on, and we all had our eyes glued to the ring. The main event was FANTASTIC! The only bad part of the night was the end, when we all had to leave after one of the best nights we’ve had in a long time.

If you have never been to see Boxing and MMA in person, this makes a great date night! 

We had to miss Combat Quest 2 due to car trouble, but Combat Quest 3, here we come!!!!
