When I get conflicted about whether or not I’m actually a good person.

Mmm yeah I’m probably a bad person. I make things about myself. A friend told me once about how I always make stuff about my anxiety. I do kind favors to others because I’m usually expecting something out of it that benefits me.

Mmm wait maybe I’m a good person. Seeing others happy makes me happy and I have too much empathy for others. I see a kid crying I’m gonna go cry too, ask them what’s wrong and offer comfort or hugs with the best of my abilities. I see someone getting picked on I’ll throw hands and offer support to the victim. I’ll fist fight whoever tries to harm that innocent person over there, bare knuckled and I won’t stop even if my fists start to bleed. I’d stop someone from jumping off a bridge when they feel like their life has no meaning.

But maybe I’m actually a bad person still. After all my kindness is just the basic threshold for human sincerity. I don’t get a reward for showing something as common in people as basic empathy.

1. What is the sexuality and gender orientation that you most identify with at the moment?

I’m bisexual and transmasc. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

2. What are your pronouns? Did you have difficulty picking them?

I go by They/He. It was a bit of a struggle picking them 😭 the whole pipeline was She/Her/Them, to She/They to They/Them to all to they/he then back to all and finally- They/He.

3. What name do you go by? Did you choose it yourself, or was it given to you?

I mainly go by Prin or Pringle online, but irl I don’t have a problem with my birth name! It’s gender neutral, it feels comfy, and it’s not too feminine. The name Prin/Pringle wasn’t made my myself, it was a suggestion by a friend of mine. I used to go by Q(Pringles) and my friend said “Pringles is a cutie pattotie name” so I made it Pringle, and shortened it to Prin!

4. Are you open about your sexuality and identity, or do you prefer to keep it to yourself?

It’s kind of a mix. There is a handful of strangers/people I’m sorta acquainted with that I’ve told I’m bi, but only if they give me the ally vibes if that makes sense. I don’t tell anyone about my gender identity, because for some reason it feels like trans people get so much more hate, so I try to steer clear of telling everyone I come across that I’m transmasc. I just suck it up when they refer to me with she or her. Around my friends, oh I tell them EVERYTHING. Because I can trust them!

5. Do you present as the gender you identify with? If not, would you like to in the future?

Sadly, no. I’m a closeted transmasc, and my entire family (besides my brother) is extremely anti-LGBTQ. My mom specifically. If I even wear anything slightly masc, she berates me and says shit like “oh, you’re a beautiful girl, don’t try to hide it”. In the future, I’d definite love to get shorter hair, and wear more masc items of clothing. But even now, sometimes I enjoy dressing the way I do with wearing heels or other many fem things. I feel okay presenting either way, but I’d mainly love to dress masculine and appear as how I comfortably identify as.

6. Do you have any goals you’re working towards related to your sexuality or gender?

Yep! When I’m able to, I want to get top surgery. I don’t have a big chest anyways, but I have crazy gender dysphoria about my chest sometimes and I think it’d also help me come off as more masc too. For my sexuality, I plan to move into a house with my boyfriend, somewhere in the world. I kinda plan to stay in the US, only because I’m so familiar with it, but me and my bf are seeing where we’d wanna stay once we move in with each other. I also just wanna be more open about my sexuality and not cower so much. I wanna wave a huge ass bisexual flag around one day.

One of the most aggravating things about Monster fans is how Nina's continued abuse and violation at the hands of Johan is treated as a key to a puzzle or weirdly romanticized as this ultimate sacrifice ("love") on his part that we should pity him for. Is his story tragic, yes, but people don't think about the impact of his actions on Nina's character because she isn't a character to most people...just a plot point in Johan's story.
