I have an issue that I can't really parse.

I do not believe that it's ok to trust Muslims in general for three large reasons.

1. Their faith demands they lie to push their religion.

2. Their faith doesn't believe it's radical despite how it treats all non Muslims and also women.

3. For these people it's convert or die.

I remember seeing a video about a Muslim talking about how they aren't extreme. How is great to want gays dead. How it's fine to think women are less than men. How all things they don't like should be banned because to them that's moral.

I look back at my old self and go, "Was I every right that there are actually moderate Muslims? Truly can we know? Their faith is the only mainstream faith that demands lies to propagate the faith. Is it possible the people I thought were moderate never were? I truly don't know. And it makes it hard for me to know how to feel.

Just read someone claiming that being ok with killing someone breaking into your house is a "facist usamerican opinion".

As a victim of a home break in, where I got beaten up for the sin of dropping a plastic bag holding snacks I had just bought, where I then had to witness an aunt and her daughter crying their eyes out tied to a bed, fearing they would get raped, myself fearing the same for them after I too was tied and gagged next to them.

And also as the son of another victim of a break in, who got stabbed in the gut and almost died of blood loss half naked right in front of his infant daughter.

I have to say

Kill all home intruders, if they have committed the sin of breaking into the place most safe for you and your family, with the intention of taking everything you worked so hard to get, not to mention the lives of you and your family, you have all the right in the world to respond with deadly force, no questions asked.

Honoring POW Matt Maupin who's remains were recovered thirteen years ago today after being taken as POW in Iraq.

Please help me honor him so that he is not forgotten.

Staff Sergeant Matt Maupin was with the 724th Transportation Company deployed to Iraq. His convoy was attacked south of Baghdad by insurgents in April 2004. He was taken captive and eventually, his remains would be found nearly four years later.May 8, 2023
