He was happy the spare stuff he’d left in Earthland had proven to be useful. And he tried to picture it — Jellal Fernandes in his clothes, with his staves, like a reflection straight out of a MIRROR.

“ i was even unmasked by the magic council at one point. doranbolt -- who was aware you were no longer in earthland -- was at the games and tried to arrest me in a crowd of people. i barely got away from that one. ”

❛ yeah totally—— ! it took me months to be able to walk again, but now it’s just like normal. ❜ people have asked her if she could of done anything differently, especially regarding her leg, would she ? she answered the same every time, no, even though she is suffering in ways not many people know, she was glad that the amounts of death was minimum. instead of taking care of her leg, she saved juvia’s life, and erza’s in a way as well.

❛ no it’s not a problem at all, actually i’m glad you choose to check in on me, it feels like part of the jellal i know is also checking in on me. even if he is no longer with us. in a way you two are alike in that way. ❜ she smiled at him.

her cheerful response puts a smile on his face, but he still can’t help but feel a bit of worry. though no need to bring down the mood or anything. he nods at her.

“ oh, really? well, i’ve never met him but i’ve heard that he was rather honourable ... and the king of edolas now, nonetheless. ” quite the contrast between, but it was a nice feeling knowing wendy was glad for his visit. “ but anyway, i’m glad you’re doing better. have you been able to take jobs with the others? ” he wasn’t completely sure what to ask about, so maybe the most obvious things would be best.
