One year ago today I started testosterone to begin my medical transition. Honestly, this has been life-changing, I'm becoming the version of me that I should be. I can't imagine what life would have been like or whether I would still be here otherwise. Yes, there are still bad days, and gender dysphoria still affects me but life has become so much better and I'm in a much better place mentally. As I've said before a photo comparison doesn't show the whole story, but it is a start. Thank you for supporting me through this journey. It's crazy to think how a chemical can change your life for the better. Testosterone has been that chemical for me. These comparison photos from pre t and 10 months on t are only a small part of my journey and don't highlight the huge mental improvements I have also experienced or how much hairier the rest of me has become. Life's a battle sometimes, but all the small achievements and milestones add up eventually and you begin to realise life is worth it after all. (at Cardiff)
