Anyone who tells you that the issues involved in the Israel Palestine conflict are simple has failed to see the humanity in at least one entire side, if not both.

The truth is that in order to move forward, both Palestinians and Israelis are going to have to forgive things no one should be asked to forgive. But the alternative is more unforgivable violence in a wheel of violence that turns for the powerful at the expense of the lives of all the citizens.

That is why the issues are not simple and neither is any meaningful peaceful resolution.

Like if you're writing "sci-fi" but you're not interested in speculating about the potential societal implications of the technology that exists in the future you're imagining then what the fuck are you even doing. That's not sci-fi that's fantasy set in space.
