The Targaryens had practiced polygamy in the past. True, we have no way of knowing yet if Rhaegar married Lyanna. But still, the fact that Rhaegar was already married does not automatically mean that Jon is a bastard.
Who would marry him off? A septon in Dorne? Doubt it Elia’s from Dorne AND THE FAITH HATES POLYGAMY. Maegor the Cruel had problems bc of it and he had dragons. Which Rhaegar lacked.
Thre are no weirwoods in Dorne either.
Fans forget the power the Faith has, polygamy ended because it cause issues. Also if Jon is the third head of the dragon, it’s his birth that is important, him being a bastard changes nothing.
