Why must every show end terribly? Why do characters have to die? Why can’t my ships get together? I was Game if Throned again. I cannot understand why everyone thinks people like it when shows end like real life. I want fiction! Not real life! Real life sucks most of the time. I want TV that ends happily. Writers want to surprise you. Here’s a tip...I’d be surprised if a show actually ended happily.
Jaime Lannister & Harry Potter
Everyone is trying to cling to the hope that somehow honorable, decent Jaime survived. Here’s my theory...in HP, Voldemort killing curses Harry and the evil part of Voldemort inside of Harry died or whatever weirdness it did. Maybe when the rocks caved in on dumbass Jaime...they just killed dumbass Jaime and sweet Jaime made it out alive like Harry did. Probably not, but until I see the final episode I’m stuck with a tiny glimmer of hope even though I know it will probably end in paralyzing disappointment. My theory is no worse than the actual writing of this award winning show.
I used to read fan fiction and watch Braime videos on YouTube constantly, but I haven’t been able to this week. Seeing the slow burn and the lingering gazes makes me feel kinda sick. It’s like I can’t look at him since 8x4. All their happy moments leading up to this last episode have left a bitter taste in my mouth. The sad thing is, I still have hope. It might be a tiny flicker, but it’s there.
