Although Mijo and Iñigo Vontier have been friends for years, and both act as fundamental members and innovators of the scene in Mexico, they have never been together in a studio. Virtual Boys is a first attempt by the pair to create dance tracks by using social media (i.e. Facebook messages), and the results make for a definite journey into the psychedelic realms of the new Mexican techno sound.

Though the Paris-bred producer cut his teeth playing bass in post-punk bands in high school, Berly has been focused on his solo project La Mverte in recent years, tweaking SH-101 patches towards a brutalist intersection of Italo, industrial and new wave. When not sharpening the edges on his own productions, he moonlights as a DJ and plays keyboards for fellow Parisian Yan Wagner. In 2014 he released Through The Circles, his debut EP for the Her Majesty’s Ship imprint." rbmaradio.com
