Hey so here is a thought!
How do you think the Dr stone guys (preferably if you could write a oneshot or smth for stanxeno and Senku or any other characters you would like) would react to their s/o having a Heart defect she was born with? Only if you are comfortable with that ofc! Cause I had one and I had surgery for it like 2 weeks ago...And I just wanted to know what you think they would do to support her and find non surgical solutions to make her life easier in the stone world? If you have any questions about the consequences or anything while writing it you can also reach out I'd be glad to answer your questions!
I HOPE YOU’RE RECOVERING WELL FROM YOUR SURGERY FRIEND!!
So I thought about this ask for a while, and my first thought was that the petrification would heal/fix it. So then I was like, “But what if it didn’t?”
Now Senku would be weary about reviving his S/O, knowing about their condition, at least at first. That is until he finds out the stone’s healing properties, then he’s happy to revive his S/O, not just because he needs them for what they can add to the team, but because he isn’t a robot and he misses them! When he revives them, he asks how they feel and checks up on them to make sure everything is okay.
When it’s made apparent that they weren’t healed fully he’d initially feel bad, frustrated that he revived them and now they have to deal with their heart defect in a world that doesn’t have the needed comforts. So his solution is to figure out why and how. He wants to know why that stayed the same, and how can he utilize the petrification to fix it.
He makes any sort of comfort he can think of. If his S/O is feeling fatigued, he makes sure Francois knows about their condition and has food and water readily available, mostly for when Senku isn’t around. He makes a makeshift monitor just to check on their condition. He also tries to not exert them, most days are spent with him in the lab doing things that don’t take a lot of physical labor. He knows his S/O isn’t helpless, and is strong, but he doesn’t want anything to happen that he can’t be prepared for in the stone world.
Once things mellow out though, he devotes a good portion if his time to figuring out how to use the petrification and revival to his S/O’s benefit.

Now for these two, the same thing applies. They wouldn’t want to revive their S/O just yet. They also don’t have the added knowledge that petrification can heal. So while Xeno does not know the revival fluid formula when he first starts out, he does know the basic nitric acid trick to help people break out of the stone. He won’t do this though. If their S/O breaks out of the stone it’s a complete coincidence.
I’d like to say their S/O breaks out during a time where the American colony is thriving, so comfort for S/O is readily available. I like to think that their S/O would have been at the conference with them, or at least at a nearby hotel if they weren’t a scientist or some other high ranking position, so their statue was nearby enough to find. Xeno would keep their statue in his lab, something to give him motivation during the days and nights he’s working. So it does catch him a bit off guard when S/O spontaneously breaks out of the stone one day.
His immediate thought is to get them comfortable and clothed, then call for Stan. His next step is to check their heart and vitals. Once he’s given them a once over, he’d pull something out of one of his lab drawers, some medicines he made in advance for when S/O did break out of the stone.
He makes sure everyday they have what they need before heading off to the lab. During the day, Stanley is with S/O a lot, if he isn’t busy that is. He’ll stop by wherever S/O likes to do their work or hobbies and sit and chat while cleaning his guns. He asks the prewritten medical questions Xeno told him to ask then he’ll either stay for a while or move on to his next important task.
Now when Senku comes around and all that goes on, Stan is more protective than ever. Always in guard, and makes sure S/O has someone with them at all times. When Xeno gets taken, Stan makes sure S/O is put on lockdown and stays put at the American colony. And when Xeno finds out that the petrification has to potential to heal, he becomes fixated on figuring it out, not only to help S/O, but also he has a need to know anything that doesn’t make sense. Why are some things healed and some things not?
I tried my best to sort of generalize it cause I know there are so many different symptoms and not everyone has the same experience with heart defects, so do let me know if you like it!! And again I hope you’re doing well pookie!!!
