the 2019 hockey gift exchange
hi i’ve never done one of these so we’re winging it as we go so bear with me, please!
long story short, the hockey fandom is full of absolutely talented, amazing people! everyone’s got something really cool to contribute, be it written works, gifs, graphics, memes, or anything else you can think of!
and who doesn’t like getting gifts? so i’d like to propose:
so the idea is pretty self-explanatory:
a gift for a gift! kinda like secret santa…except it’s not secret and it’s not christmas and santa isn’t involved (unless you want him to be???).
maybe i make graphics but i’d love to see a compilation of gifs for a certain player that i really like
or i write fics but i’d love to have a lockscreen of my favorite team
anything goes, and then everyone would make something for someone and receive something in return!

the rule of equivalent exchange! you give something, you get something.
it can be anything you like, as long as it’s hockey related!
so it could be a gif compliation, graphic/edit, a specifically tailored music playlist, a story / fic, memes, primers, etc.
request: put your request here, like what team or what player you want, etc.
what you can do: what kind of gift u can make (i.e. graphics, fics, gifs, etc.)
what teams / players you will not work with:

you can be as specific or general as you want in your request, but please give something for the gift maker to work off of.
also, if you specify what kind of gift you want (i.e. a graphic or a fic) be aware that this is based on how many people are willing to make the stuff you ask for so just be aware that if u try and specify a type of gift, that will be considered but not listed as a priority.
i’ll get back to you with someone elses request and a deadline to get it done by!
once you’re done with your gift, please send the link to me so i can make a big masterlist just in case someone doesn’t see the notification etc. but do feel free to tag ur gift recipient when u post ur gift.
i have no idea what else to put if i’m missing something just point it out and i’ll fix it while dying of embarrassment
