I made a GoFundMe for top surgery because hormones and a name change aren’t even possible right now, and I imagine that it’ll be even harder to save for chest surgery in the future.

My friends know that I’m going through a rough patch in my life, having been kicked out of the house I was residing in with my father & older sister, on Christmas Day. I’m a homeless 17 year old who’s just moved out of my cousin’s an hour away from my school to a hotel that’s 15 minutes away.

I’m getting help from my extended family to be put up in the hotel, it’s just my mother and I. My father has been less than forthcoming financially, and he’s going to completely disown me once I age out of everything (26 for insurance, 18 for anything else like financial aid, car/licensing, etc.)

I ask my friends to signal boost this and that everyone else help give me a fighting chance. I’ve been applying to jobs endlessly but haven’t got a hit yet, and it’s hard when I don’t have a gender affirming ID, name change, transportation or previous experience. I will be so immensely grateful for anything you can give.
