my posts will (hopefully) be silly or just based on what I'm reading most of the time, but like, its my blog so I'll be venting here sometimes when i feel like it.

I'm not exactly the most social person, so i apologize in advance for how awkward I am lol. im doing my best to learn, though, and I appreciate anyone willing to talk to me so I can practice!

I read a lot and always have, but my current obsession is webnovels. I love Shadow Slave and ORV, I'm trying to get into more webnovels but those are the two I've read most, reading the authors note where guiltythree recommended supreme magus and needing something to read while Shadow Slave was on a week long break lead to me binging the absolute slop that it is (at least at like, every scene outside of that one lost city he goes to from chapters 500-600) and now being hella invested in it as well though lol. Oh, and i read like 500 chapters of reverend insanity months ago. I've only gotten through the Main Story of ORV though, so PLEASE keep spoilers away from me lol.

For more traditional books, ive read harry potter, percy jackson, the kane chronicles, the sword of truth (do not recommend, its not very good, my dad got me into it), uhhhh theres definitely more but im drawing a blank rn, ask me and see! im also super open to recommendations, so please lmk if you have any!

I love music as well, i mostly listen to rock, indie rock, pop, and vocaloid stuff (i think at least, never been good at remembering genres), but i love everything! if you have song recs please send them my way!

I, uh, tend to be just a liiiiitle obsessive in relationships, so despite me being single now, when im not anymore, I WILL be yapping about my partner.

anyways, im just gonna be yapping my head off here and interacting with the lovely people who find me, and find my strangeness tolerable lol. I hope you like what's here, and if you decide to stick around, I'll talk to you later!!

Chapter by Chapter Book Review - The Foxhole Court

Hi! I'm Wren, and welcome to Chapter by Chapter book reviews! Here, I read a book, and every single time I finish a chapter, I write a quick little summary of my opinion on it! This is my first one, but I plan on doing this for a lot of the books I read from here on. I'm by no means educated on book reviews, this is just so I can yap about books, lol. I'll update this post with each chapter I finish in the book. There will, of course, be spoilers. All summaries are below the break!

Chapter 1:

So far, I'm super intrigued, I like Neil as a character and the little nuggets of his past and prior relationship with... uh. What was the guy who Neil hasn't seen in years' name again??? I dont remember, I'll remember in chapter 2 (its kevin!), anyway, I like hearing the little tidbits that they used to know each other. Oh, and the little nuggets about his mom and hints toward his dad being some bad dude with connections are really really interesting. I can't wait to meet the rest of the Foxes, so I'm gonna wrap this up and keep going!

Chapter 2:

Ok, so I already don't like Andrew. He's been kind of a dickhead so far, and i lwk hate how Andrew, Kevin, and Nicky all just. Let him be? Idk if I'll get more context later, but so far, i can not wait to see Neil rock his shit. I really like Coach Wymack, though! His belief and trust in Neil is really nice to see, and so far he seems like a great dude.

Im sorry either quit looking at me like that or stop letting me see you look at me. You, broke up with me, I've moved on, and its pissing me off that you still look at me like something could happen. What do you think this is? because it sure as hell isn't some slow burn romance after this.

You have shown me, repeatedly, that if things get hard for you, or i stop being completely perfect, and act like the mentally ill person i am, and fuck up, even once, you will treat me like a complete stranger until one of us ends it. I acted like a human with human problems, and you couldn't accept that i wasn't perfect. That's not love, you were obsessed and can't tell the difference.

You saw our relationship as a burden, and i dont need, or want to be with someone who sees me like that. You do not get a chance to fool me into caring about you while you play with my feelings a third time. You wanted, or at least, acted like you wanted, me to be a stranger. You're getting exactly that. Quit starting at my dick and arms and fuck off.
