The Egyptian Relief Committee in Gaza provides humanitarian aid and on-the-ground support to the Palestinians of Gaza. Al-Wahidi was one of the first humanitarian organization directors to implement a plan to clear the rubble in Gaza, ensuring that families could at least partially move around the Strip on cleared roads.

Under Al-Wahidi's leadership, the Committee had been setting up public screenings of World Cup matches for displaced families. Al-Wahidi was killed just an hour before the Egypt-Argentina game began.

Yesterday, I almost lost my mother 😔💔

I don’t know how many more times I can come here and ask for help. Every post I write comes with tears, because my mother’s life is all I can think about.

Yesterday, her condition became much worse , I can’t stop replaying those terrifying moments in my mind. Standing beside her hospital bed, watching her struggle, feeling completely powerless… it’s a pain I can’t put into words. The doctors told us she urgently needs this heart procedure, but we’re still waiting because we don’t have the money.😔

We’re only $600 away from the urgent heart procedure she needs. Such a small number to some people, yet for us it feels like the distance between hope and despair.💔

If your mother were the one in that hospital bed, you wouldn’t stop fighting for her not for a second. That’s exactly what I’m doing now.💔😔

the running theme of inah being willing to put herself on the line because of her principles (both physically with her body being prone to injury and emotionally with her willingness to be the "bad guy") vs kijun who gets fired up on her behalf like he really just cares; even before he fully realized he liked her in a romantic sense, back when she was just his scary (kinda pretty tbf) boss

i really do love how you can see how much their relationship has grown through their parallel scenes like in ep 6 he's grown more protective of her but also he's not as "scared" of her anymore (guy's even willing to tease her lol) and inah's also gotten more comfortable showing him a more honest side (like she still obviously downplays her wounds and that hurts comment was more for his benefit but there's still an element of truth there)

something something about inah who was at kijun's bedside often (to the point it's implied all of his sisters have run into her) while he was unconscious being conspicuously absent after he first woke up in her presence. later on when kijun spams her over the toast she brings it over and tries to leave without him noticing, it's almost as if after going through that scare she can't really face him because she's realized just how much she's grown to care for him.

i might be just cornplating but i like the contrast of how when kijun realized the depth of his feelings for inah his reaction was to pursue her firmly over inah's reaction in this episode being to push him away and run away and hide, but a part of her wants it to be different and she verbalizes it to kijun who despite his initial misread of the situation follows through

also just love how this scene is so representative of their push and pull, inah does something kijun asked her to (brings him the toast) checks on him but tries to leave before he notices but kijun reaches out and makes her stay which leads inah to share a moment of vulnerability with him
