I'm not a video content creator but if I were I would rather all of my videos be demonitized and buried by the algorithm than say "unalive" or blip out words like "kill", "rape", "vagina", "nazi" or any other word that advertisers deem to be an instant disqualification for them.

That whole debacle is literally an illustraion of the Orwellian Newspeak, and it is one of my pet peeves when people say that creating new words for new emerging concepts (like sexuality labels) are called newspeak – that's not what it is! Newspeak is taking words away to limit self expression, not broadening the lingual horizons

See this? This is the trap. This is how they get you. You appeal to outrage and emotion, you make a bold statement like "sex offenders don't have rights" and whip up that righteous anger, get people all thirsty for blood and punishment, right? And that's their foot in the door. Once you've decided that there's a class of people it's okay to do this to, there's no clean line in the sand anymore, is there? Now chemical castration (or whatever fucked up shit you wanna bring into it) is an option on the table. in the uk in particular the line is that if a trans person doesn't out themselves before sex - even if they're bodily indistinguishable from a cis person when naked - that's 'sexual assault by deception'. you know, a sex offence.

i do not think people deserve chemical castration for anything, corporal punishment is fucked, and just blithely saying 'sex offenders' when the country already thinks 'trans people exist' is a sex offence like. come ON.
