Picked up some Microbiology this semester. 

I usually write my notes in the notes section of my professors’ powerpoints, but when they go offline and start doing illustrations, I like to switch to my tablet.

Merry Christmas!

I spent the holiday with my beloved boyfriend of 5 1/2 years. We just watched movies all day and had a little sleepover. 

Unfortunately, he’s moving to California to start his career. Today’s the last day I have had with him... Good-byes are so hard.

5 1/2 years and this was our first Christmas together. 5 1/2 years and we still haven’t shared a New Years kiss. 5 1/2 years and he’s been my best friend through everything. Life has taken him to Texas, Florida, and now California - away from me - and that’s why we don’t have too many moments together. Even after our first year being together, his family moved to Florida, but he went to college in Louisiana an hour away from me. 

But I believe that through all the distance we have been through, it has prepared us for this obstacle in our relationship. Exactly a 2,000.5 mile-long obstacle. Yes, our relationship has been blessed in the right time - a time where FaceTime, texting, and calling exist in our everyday lives - because if it weren’t for these types of communication, our relationship wouldn’t exist. I wouldn’t have found my best friend, my true love in this world. A gentleman capable of love, patience, and kindness.

I just wanted to share something personal and from the heart with you guys. Hopefully, it’ll give some of y’all hope.

Which one is better for taking notes in class, write on a sheets of paper or on a notebook. Because in the end I still need to do revision and do another complete notes for the subject. Thx in advance.

In order to prepare for finals and keep my (professor’s) thoughts organized, I would do it this way: Write on printer paper in class - because we all know that professors can jump around during class. This way, I’ll have enough space to jot down last minute things and can do it quickly during lecture. Later, I would write it nicely in my notebook to better organize the material so my notebook would be ready for studying for finals/exams.

I love that you use a Lily Pulitzer planner! I see so many studyspo blogs that angst over how to make your own, but I've been using Lily for years and it's perfect! They're so colorful and cute and help me stay organized. Lol I was beginning to think I was the only one who knew about them!

I love Lilly Agendas! I’m definitely the type that buys agendas than create because I’m such a perfectionist, and creating one will take over my life! Definitely a solid investment!

If it makes you feel any better, I thought I was shy too. But there’s something about being in a new environment that’s not high school that makes you want to be friendly and approachable to make new friends. Don’t be shy to introduce yourself to people in the beginning - because at that time, everyone is looking for friends and connections!
