OH and your chest. hands under your vest top, not taking it off tho cause he finds it hotter under the material. yes hes skinny but hes that skinny type of freak that can hold any weight and not struggle once, especially when you're leaning your back against his chest, hands under your shirt, playing with your nipples. he's a FREAK.

Would it be wrong to change history slightly and change the SOE’s formation date to 1939 (rather than 1940) for my SAS: Rogue Heroes fic?

I know it seems weird that I’m asking because I’m writing a canon x oc fic so I’m technically changing history anyway, but for some reason, changing the date of the SOE’s formation feels weird so I’d just like a general consensus on how people in the fandom feel about it.

I love this scene because it implies 1 of 3 things:

A) Paddy later went to retrieve the pipe and just kept hold of it until felt that Tonkin deserved to have it back.

B) Paddy purposely went out of his to buy another one, which, in itself, implies a whole lot of other things.

C) Paddy stole a pipe from someone while in Italy (as many people have already stated in the tags), which, again, implies an awful lot of other things.

Implications for B and C could include (but are not limited to):

A) He felt bad about throwing the pipe away almost immediately but couldn’t find it, so went to buy/steal another one as soon as possible, but either thought Tonkin didn’t deserve to have his pipe back yet, or Tonkin was captured before he could give him the new pipe.

B) he felt bad after Tonkin was captured and bought/stole a new pipe in hopes that Tonkin would come back and he could give him the pipe as way of apology/extending an olive branch.

Either way, it’s adorable and interesting to think about.

Something I’ve just found out from a documentary is that on D-Day, the Germans flooded the fields of Normandy, so that when allied paratroopers landed, a lot of them landed in flooded fields and drowned.

So, on top of less than ideal weather and severe cloud coverage causing paratroopers to miss the drop zones and get scattered, loads of them drowned in fields that the Germans had purposely flooded.

They really were suffering out there.
