*finds a cute mushroom themed journal at one of the pop up shops in town* :D
*sees that it’s been used* D:
Update: I tried calling the number for the elusive Bethany, and the person who picked up had no clue who Bethany was. I guess she changed numbers. Mr Steve on the other side of the phone, big my bad for wasting your time.
BUUUUT I saw this notebook looks like it was used for an observation journal at one point, and wouldn’t you know-the first entry is about a mushroom!!
Maybe it would be fun to look thru it and stuff. If it’s interesting, I can share what was written. All credits to Bethany, ofc.
SORRY I FORGOT TO UPLOAD THE ENTRY (I say to absolutely no one but myself) I took a nap and forgot.
Anyways, this is it:
[For those who are struggling to see the picture: It’s dated for the 25th of August and is titled “Fall Semester Observation Journal”
“The organic lifeform I have chosen: A mushroom I found outside my sorority house (Kappa Delta). The mushroom is big. 18.8cm in height and the top was 11.2cm in length. It looks plain. I don’t know what kind it is.”
There’s a simple sketch of a mushroom.]
So while it’s definitely the type of journal entry for a college student who’s only doing it for the grade, I’m gonna hold out hope that our Bethany grows more passionate. I’m just gonna upload in increments, entry by entry.
Admittedly, this mushroom is actually pretty big- 18.8cm is over seven inches, which you don’t see in wild mushrooms often- at least not in my area. (Though ig its possible Bethany wasn’t near the area now- I go to community college, but the nearest University that has greek life doesn’t seem to have a Kappa Delta chapter.)
