One of my galaxy barbosa is having trouble swimming correctly, it tries to flip itself the correct way but ends up turning upside down again after a while. I found it nibbling an algae pellet I left for the snails and shrimp.
I moved it to where the current won't bother it (wouldn't stop swimming against the current and it looked like it was a huge effort) and he seems better or at the very least less stressed or overexerted though it's still opening and closing it's mouth a lot.
I googled it and read some posts and stuff like that, apparently it could be caused by eating too much or gulping too much air and could be fixed by just fasting them for a bit. I'll go to the pet shop and have them check my water and ask what to do tomorrow but since it's Sunday I can't do so today.
Can anybody give me any tips/tell me what I should do??? All other galaxy barbosas (there's 7 more) are doing just fine, should I really just wait it out and feed them less? Any help is very appreciated.
