I hope you don't mind, but I recently started associating Palaemon with the song "It's not like I like you" Since a Tsundere is a person who does not accept their emotions for another person and may react angrily if romantic or close situations arise

I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. Btw, I loved Palaemon's ending; it suited him perfectly. I know his story is over, but it wouldn't hurt to get a glimpse of what happened next.Thanks Llaverna for the story 🫰

palaemon would probably fall well into the tsundere archetype as well as the yandere, which is an interesting mix haha

regarding what happens after his ending though,, i wanted to leave it up to the reader to imagine it !! it could go either way really, whether you'd want to see it in a more depressing view and the two being caught by ophelim - or perhaps in a more hopeful light with the two managing to get away and making something for themselves in the city's shadows ^^

i've made it so that in the sequels any ending from leucothea can work so that way everyone can imagine whatever they'd like !!

anw theres the copium doodle and a new one (brainrot) where i couldnt decide if Azzie gets the bowl cut or the pixie cut so she ended up with a mesh of both & my mc getting married for tax benefits (ive said it once i will say it again Balaam would make a really nice housemate no strings attached) (why do i feel like im the only person actually validating Palaemon's hatred of Balaam oh no)

regarding azzie, i think her hairstyle post-avaritia is a mix of a bob and shag, kind of like this:

and about what she is to the mc,,, that would highly depend on how they'd go about developing their relationship!! azzie canonically does experience some level of romantic attraction to the mc but she will never make the first move in fear of ruining what the two already have haha. she's more than happy to stay close friends ^^

balaam would also 100% be happy to get married to the mc solely for tax benefits - given he's not really all that into romance and with the mc being born in the city it would definitely be advantageous for him. he'd probably need at least a year to get to know the mc a bit better for that to go through though, he's not about to risk his safety given how he views everyone in avaritia as mildly insane haha. just don't expect balaam to be a big fan of a suit...

most characters got their positions through a mix of nepotism and being skilled enough to be considered for a position at avaritia. the only characters that had no family of decent power for the former to be in their cards are balaam, asbeel, penemue and lithil (the latter's past is going to be hinted at more in the prequel ^^)

as for getting penemue's attention from zaqiel...

i think you'd need a lot of luck with that!!

Like "Man, I think anyone would kiss Shamsiel if they could, Balaam is just a coworker, you're aiming your guns wrong" yk? Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I love your story, I'm fan 🥺

haha, that's mostly due to balaam being the only person palaemon has actually seen speak to in a (semi friendly) manner to the MC. Shamsiel to him is just a random annoying guard he hopefully never has to see again and he doesn't even know of Azzie's existence >.<

now if he was aware of how close the two are to the MC that would be a whole other story...

So... if I'm a high-level researcher at Avaritia, would I be able to bring my pet with me? If I take good care of it and do my job perfectly, would I be able to or will they still deny it to me? 🥺

unfortunately, the chances of a researcher being able to bring live animals into any facility is incredibly low unless it's for research purposes.

of course, if you have enough money and power i suppose they can let it slide for solitary animals that you can keep enclosed (snakes, fish, etc...)

they'll still put you through paperwork hell though, that part is unavoidable i fear
