Hamnet is a masterpiece.

Hamnet is a marvellous film. It will stay with me for a very long time. Please watch this in the cinema with a loved one, so you can squeeze each other's hand while you cry (my mother and I).

Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell, the novel from which the film was adapted, is outstanding too, and I highly recommend it.

I am really looking forward to Disclosure Day, a science fiction film directed by Steven Spielberg, and starring Josh O'Connor, Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo. It be in cinemas on 12 June 2026.

I am intrigued about the significance of the deer and bird, as they appear in both the teaser trailer and posters. 🤔
