An upgrade to my Silk cosplay this year. I used conductive sewing thread from Amazon on the thumb so that I could keep my gloves on while using my phone. Still a bit clunky just using thumbs but I thought it would really stand out on the 2 red fingers.

Throwback to updating my bracers for Bombshell Donna Troy 2.0
This time I tried a new technique, sewing the zipper with a sewing machine to the 2mm EVA foam. I also attached the border with Velcro hot glued to the foam. After heat sealing the foam with the heat gun, I used 3 layers of flex bond to prep the foam. Then I painted the foam with black @angelusdirect after which I used a few layers of silver Angelus leather paint.

Bombshell Donna Troy Bracers 1.0
This was made of 2mm EVA foam heat sealed and primed with Hex bond and painted with silver Angelus leather paint. The closure was entirely Velcro. As you can see, after years of wearing this, the foam has wrinkled. It's time for an upgrade.
