he swings one arm up uselessly in a gesture of exasperation,   letting it smack back against his thigh when he drops it.   honestly,   they’ve been friends for six thousand years,   and aziraphale won’t even side with crowley on the petty matters   (   have they ever really agreed on the petty things,   though   ?   ).

   “   unbelievable,   ‘s what you are.   you know that   ?   unbelievable   !   ”

             “  well,    “   no.  he  should  just  say  no,  crowley  will  never  drop  this.   the  angel  takes  a  sip  of  the  tea,  and  it’s believed  to  be  a  pause  in  moment,  a  moment  too  long .     “  no  one’s  ..  taking  sides,  it’s  just,  “    and  yet  again, he   finds  himself  speechless,    his  mind  running  in  circles .     oh,  but  then  he  remembers  .    “  oh  good  lord,  this  is  about  the  wine  sommelier  at  the  ritz  -  yes,  we  sort  of  see   him  frequently  and  i  doubt  he  truly   knows  the  best  wine -  as  we’ve  lived  through  it  basically,  “ 

       “  as  ... celestial  beings,  “   aziraphale  whispers the  latter .    “  we  should  let  the  humans  feel  good about  little  things  ,  severely  a  petty  thing  you’ve  turned  this  into ,   crowley . “       one  more  pause .       “  also  you  really  can’t  just  ask  him  if  he’s  been  around  for   the  first  wine  tasting,  you  know he  hasn’t - “
