I am learning some fascinating things today about what people think is a normal amount of storage space for a computer.

I realise I'm an outlier (custom 20TB network storage server cobbled together with used parts) but I am getting second-hand claustrophobia trying to imagine only having 256GB for my entire digital life

was just reminded about those camera glasses and how they're just a fun consumer thing now and i miss privacy. i miss not being spied on every waking moment. even walking down the street in my neighborhood or in my own home. there is never a moment of peace unless i'm like in the shower with the curtain drawn and even then catch me on the right day and i'm so sure there's a camera in the showerhead.
